kenzie was the wildfowling god in the norfolk and lincolnshire area ,he was also the biggest poacher in the area too, a champion boxer in his day and a true gentleman. he was also a very good friend of peter scott the famous artist and ex wildfowler turned conservationist. they did many studies on wildfowl together, if anyone gets a chance to read his book do so its a great read !!!!

Subject: Olympic Shooting Venue for 2012 Games Under present plans over £18 million (at the 2006 bid price) is to be spent creating the proposed venue for the shooting events at the 2012 London Olympics at Woolwich Barracks. I understand that the expected cost currently stands at £26 million and that by 2012 this could have reached £40 million. It is proposed that after the Olympics the complex will be pulled down. I feel that not only is this an absolute disgrace and total waste of money and resources but also that there will be no lasting legacy for the shooting sports. One of the

hi nightshadow i know what you mean about the weather, im lucky tho if i carnt go out with the birds, i go out with the dogs or gun, my old female use to love the wind i also had some great days out with her in the wind ,i also think the females can handle the wind better than the males obviousiy because of the weight difference, young birds also struggle with the wind but if you dont fly them in it then they canot get use to it , i live on the coast so there is normally a good bit of wind out on any day round here, so i say just use your loaf mate if you think its to bad dont fly her you know

i have seen the punt and helped john set in at the key side and i had a little go up the river with john and thought the punt was top notch. now i have done punting before and been out on a double punt like johns but it was not a patch on johns punt. its nice and strong and sturdy in the water so anyone who gets a chance to go out with john take it because its a great day out, but not a day for taking it easy because if i know john he you will not just be there for the ride and sight see, you will have to do your bit and a good bit at that . regards wag

hi ian, we have 7 ponds on our farm that im a keeper on, if the ducks are already flighting into it, then i wouldnt change anything ,(FEEDING) i start feeding in mid august barley on some and wheat on others. then shoot about the second or third week in september through till about 3rd week in november. so we give it time to settle ready for the pheasants shoots to start then i start feeding 4 of them after christmas on the out skirts of our shoot because we get alot of teal with them being so close to the marshes (HIDES) put them well up in advance so the ducks get used to them, we dont shoo

here is a brief decription of it which i copied definition, falconry is the taking of wild quarry with trained birds of prey. All diurnal (active in daytime) birds of prey are termed "hawks" in the language of falconry—whether they are falcons, hawks, or eagles—and all hunt naturally in their wild state. The skill of the falconer is to harness this natural hunting ability by training a hawk to hunt in partnership. While the nature of the sport is the same universally, there are many variations in the style of hunting emanating from the laws of the land, the different species of hawks
