    Choosing the right tool for the job, except you can't see your intended quarry most of the time when fishing unlike shooting. Well you can't always gauge your tackle by going on the biggest known resident carp cat pike or whatever. Some French carp waters have huge 100lb plus catfish but you wouldn't want to be sat there with 8lb TC rods cranking in 40lb carp.

    End of the day I would rather take my chances undergunned than over, when I look back at old pictures of fish the ones that provoke my memory more are the river carp caught while barbling most memorable. ?

    Cheers mate, didn't use my phone for that picture it was about 60 yards away. I get same sort of buzz shooting with a camera as I would a gun, only thing is my freezer is empty ? I'm told some of these new phones can equal an SLR camera but they not for me
