It is that I think as in learning from your mistakes and not making the same one twice Been Dog less for a few weeks now and have gone back over our adventures and I honestly think I ruined him by showing and doing too much to young (song) lol So I wont be making that mistake again keen dog and keen owner Now needs to be keen dog steady wiser owner

I'm a big believer in raw feed as well I couldn't believe the difference in the dog both mentally and physically when he came off the dry. What you looking for with the jaw checking for over or under shot? Also some one mentioned the colour of the roof of mouth anything in that that you know of

I was pulling your leg with the trampoline You done well to get him back in condition, fantastic markings. I have also experienced the same over excited ness which resulted in mine lying in the gutter as the rain ran around him when bringing him home. He also coughed for the week after but with some good advice from socks of here he all came good Also relate to the weight loss mine in his last days went to skin and bone in 48hrs. Amazing how something so fit and full of life can waste away so quickly.

Why do you think they turned gooduns, change of environment ? smaller kennels or gone in house perhaps could be any reason I suppose Cant take anything for granted in this game even if you have the right well bred litter in front of you. But first you got to get past all the schiesters along the way. It's a funny old game for sure

have been out with a baddie whippet x collie that stood like a garden ornament in the middle of bury while it all went off around him He did have blue eyes though lol I say that tounge in cheek but he didnt get a look in, but yeah he was a snapper as well

Anyone bred a litter for a pup studied the litter for 8 weeks or so then made a well thought choice, then passed the rest on, only to find your choice of pup was no where near as good as a sibling that you passed on. What a pisser, but I guess it still proves your on the right track as far as your choice of sire and dam. Can a really good strong bloodline miss a generation as far as producing exceptional litters ?

Road work with a push bike type running, or out running free I on the advise of someone else used to leave him to run with the older dogs (fitted with garman) which I dont want to take that path again. Just a little pocket rocket for a few bunnies

Well this time around what I'm looking for are. To come from good working parents that do what I would like do with pup. ( rabbits) I think more site hound and less collie Terrier as my last had too much going on, took months to stop him herding and digging lol Also I'm going to hold this one back for the first 18months of its life and then introduce to the chase. Anyone disagree or can add something to the above that I've missed Cheers

Thanks for your honesty my last pick was done on size really and tried to pick the one that had more running dog about it. As the litter was all shapes and sizes.

Just asking what some of you more experienced blokes look for, I have been told different things. Some say to pick the most aggressive one some say take the one that gets away from the aggressive one and doesn't get nailed, also told pick the most quiet sleepy one as they make for a more bidable easier to train. Any one relate to this ? Or is it a case of what you as an owner make of them. Thanks in advance for any replys.
