My old 35 mil eos 100 had a barcode book of different scenarios you could scan them into camera and it would set it up then save it in one of the custom function slots had over a 100 different settings. It was a great camera I just couldn't afford to use it like today's digital gear as in taking hundreds of shots in a few seconds. Having to pay for film development sure made you check your settings. Not very helpful I know Fuji but a mate has a good set up big grey coloured Len's cost him 2k though Reckon your photos are spot on mate Atb

Mine the same he 20 months now no problem when working but when just walking off lead he can be a right twat, and just give you the feckoff look when called. That said because of a split ear that seems to be taking for ever to heal, I have been walking him on the lead (15 foot rope) have been for past 3 weeks. Last night however I took him off lead and he walked to heel all round the fields I was amazed, then at the end sent him off after ducks that had landed in field and then he recalled but 3 weeks ago he was a right deaf twat. Maybe the lead walking has helped him know his place, might be w

I totally agree with you shaaark. How lads can say they are lurchers is beyond me mate. Useless lumps n good for nothing. Pedantic and controversial my posts/comments can sometimes be. But bite, you will not get out of me, oh bull cross owner lol.Edited to add, I will say it til my dying breath, bull crosses are NOT lurchers, and as you've just said king, are useless lumps of nothing, that offer NOTHING to proper lurcher work The one breed not in my bitza why did Jeff Burrell not put pb in the mix ?

it's never just a quick scan then on your way more like 30-40mins later after the car checks driver checks dog checks and so on. All fine and Dandy as you should be legal but a ball ache when you had a long day Reckon we are lucky round here, had my Christmas roe (road kill)in the back of Volvo estate in a state of rigor so legs pointing straight up.Went around roundabout ended up with cop car in front and one behind me then one indicated to turn right so stopped behind it,other cop car behind me I thought here we go, but nothing they both turned right and I continued home. They probably didn

Why Does It Matter... When It Comes To Breeding?
Chaff replied to Hamish.J.Cronan's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
Nicer than "bucket job" -
Have had a dog that hunted way up front would eventually recall, and a quick inspection of dog would indicate a kill, but the b*****d would never lead me back to it. But that was a lurcher, perhaps with the addition of hound blood they are more obliging in showing where it is

While walking a lane in westbury the other day,dog sees pigeon on verge. He was on a long rope so I gave some slack, gave him the command "get im" and with that they met about 4 foot in the air My Mrs was a little shocked as was I that he got it. That dog always brings a smile to my face.

Yes I would say you could be right about the scratching and head shaking,it just scabs then cracks and bleeds it appears to be infected have just treated again with hydrogen peroxide as it seems to be cleaning it up quite well, and have given it a spray with savlon spray plaster antiseptic. Collar sounds a good idea will pick one up. I was concerned it was one of these flesh rotting diseases. Thanks for advice mate

Good call davey, I could do with that one in my library mate, I would like to know how you go about bandaging up a dogs ear. I guess there's a way to do it, will put skycats book to of my birthday list.
-
Thanks lads is definitely a infection peroxide has cleaned it up quite well as in removed all the dead skin and has left it a nice pink colour wondering if I should seal it up with some Vaseline maybe to stop any shit from getting in I will try and put some pictures up thanks for your reply lads.

Dog split his ear back in November and has just not healed I have tried all the usual including a trip to vets for antibiotics and hibi scrub but it appears worse now. I have posted some time ago about this and got loads of good advise which I took on board using potassium permanganate but still no good I now have time to rest him and get it sorted. Wondered if anyone else has used hydrogen peroxide to treat infections and if so did it work. Have been advised 15% peroxide mixed 50/50 with water. Cheers

England Kelmarsh Game And Country Fair
Chaff replied to woottonsheart's topic in Gamefairs, Meet Up's and Events
I went on Sunday it was the same as most years, same faces coursing and showing all pot hunters, but of a different type to me. However I had a chat to Jeff Burrell and received plenty of good advice also spoke to a couple of Newcastle lads that were very well traveled with some exceptional dogs that had Jeff's bloodline in them. Have just heard that Mondays show has been cancelled I would imagine the the whole show has been blown into the next field. -
Yeah they have done well for a bunch of Germans

You just have to wear a special big coat. Yep big enough to conceal your wheel barrow

Someone knows that is really going on. If only we could live under common law as agreed Magna Carta and all that. But the b*****ds keep making up statute laws that serve no benefit except taking money from us
