  1. Its a lovely area to walk in Kay, and great photos. I liked the first one best. Very nice.
  2. I just think Matt is not well known enough,- his blades and finished knives are now at the top for quality. I hope he does continue, and gets better known.
  3. Last year in March, was the Murton Terrier and Lurcher show. Contact number 07810 596310 At the shows, look for Ron Hodgson, he has show lists, covering all North shows, for only £1
  4. The contact number is 01207 507785 Usually the second sunday in may.
  5. I don't think you will get a better knife or deal, than Midnights.
  6. Top work again Matt. Corian is a great material for the hand pieces.
  7. Thats interesting what you say Matt, about buffing the cutting edge. I took a blunt opinel to my mates to borrow his "proper" water stones, but they were not needed. He just ran the blade edge under a buffing wheel, and it was RAZOR sharp. I was amazed at how sharp it was and all that was needed was a buffing wheel.
  8. I have a feeling the Damasteel blades are going to be a bit special. !
  9. Quite easy using a coping saw.
  10. I liked the first one, but all exhibition quality
  11. Much easier getting it from here. http://www.highlandhorn.com/
  12. I have done it with a coping saw and also a hacksaw. Gently clamp it in the vice, and sand it flat. Finer grades of sandpaper to finish it off. I used to use T-cut to polish it up, when finished.
  13. The obvious place for a blade, is "Midnight" off here. Look at the other threads on knife making for ideas.
  14. Yes they are amazing knives Matt,- and a snip at that price. Perfect for collectors also. In particular the sambar stag knife,- stunning.
