    Good well made knives Graham M. The enzo trapper is a good general type knife, and yes holds a great edge. I also like your Ray Mears type.

    The worst wood i ever worked with, when i left school, as a wood machinist, was Afrormosia. That used to burn my throat and eyes. I just use mainly Hazel, Blackthorn, and Holly with stickmaking, but don't really do much of that now. If anyone has any of the early copies, of The BSG magazines, you will see Dave Owens and Bob Graham, with regular tips and methods,- most are now used by most stickmakers. Thats me and Bob.

    I never had any problem with the dust when working holly. The first holly shank , heart wood i did, was all done with a rasp, files and sandpaper. It turned out fantastic, but my brother has it,- i wish i'd kept it now. That took a long time to do, but was well worth it. I'd use a plane now though.

    I have for sale, a Nokia 301, in excellent condition. I have used it about a month, it still has the factory screen cover on, it has a 16gb memory card. Has a sim card adaptor if yours is a mini sim. Its great for signal and i got about 6 days out of the battery. Will do internet etc. A new screen protector is enclosed also. Reason for sale is, i have gone hi-tech and been bought an iphone for my birthday. £45 Will post by recorded delivery.

    Yes they do. It can be months of work, but they look great also with just a plain top, such as a crook or thumb-piece, for working sticks.

    They are rams horn, buffalo horn, and cow horn, all carved from the one piece of horn, no bits are stuck on.
