    How it should be

  6. David Attenborough for me is the all-time best,- with Ray Mears by far the best on survival skills. Jonny Morris and Animal magic used to get on my tits, Pat
  7. A mate of mine, is now unemployed,- a machanic and welder, but looking for anything. Living near Newcastle but likes Scotland. He has just applied for a job as a warden on Loch Lomond, but its seasonal if he got it. He is into Countrysports, A good honest sort, got a young wife and 2 kids. He is looking for any work in Scotland so if anyone knows of anything going. Could you pm me. Thanks very much.
  8. Its all very confusing,- feeding raw. When i can my dogs get complete rabbit, or half a chicken, or any game bird. I have decided to try and go onto only feeding the BARF. I have just ordered the book Work Wonders, which states that meaty bones are the main part of any dogs feed, and that a dog would be perfectly healthy if only fed half a chicken , as the meat and bones provide all that is needed. Then once every two weeks a meal of liver only. I was going to feed kidney in the morning for vitamins, then the chicken, rabbit etc later for the main meal, but reading what you are all writing

    Leg problems

The vet said a X-Ray was not needed, but that is being arranged now. I do not really expect it to show anything. No swelling of any kind.

    Leg problems

My Lurcher gained a limp , when onto a rabbit,- several months ago. With rest i thought it would heal, but not so. The vet can find nothing wrong, but my Lurcher is limping more than ever now, and can not be run. She has very little limp if she is walking on level concrete, but move off onto anything uneven and she limps badly. I have tried to manipulate the area, but no real luck with it. Front left leg. I'm not sure now if its just the foot but its hard to tell. Anyone any idea of what may be the problem,- i know its a "shot in the dark", but i will try anything.
  18. Hi Pat Yes the pups are doing great. I will be sending you some photos. I was going to the Foxhall Inn show, but it now looks like i will not be able to make it. I like that show.

  21. Yes Molly it turned out to be a very good day indeed. I enjoyed meeting so many new folk from the sites,- including Chartpolski and the Keeps family,-but i see what you mean,- who would trust that lot on your land. Foxguntom converted me to the Scottish Association for Country Sports. Now that takes some doing, as i have always been BFSS and CA.
