    Hi all Its looking like i will soon be the owner of a sako quad in 22lr and 17hmr. I need advise on what moderator will be best for both calibers hopefully one mod will do both calibers. Looking forward to hearing all advise. Cheers to all paulhed

    Hi all Is the glass in the slc's the same as E.L's as i have some slc's 10x42's and they are superb but just wonderd if the glass was the same in the E.L's as i have never looked through the E.L's. Cheers to all

    Hi baldie I will try the week long cleaning and i hope that will do the trick as i love the rifle and just hope i dont have to get a new barrel as i know the m55 are not the youngest of rifles. But even still if it comes to that i will get it done out of love of the rifle.I did try to find out how old the rifle is but had no joy so far as tikka wont respond to my emails. Cheers paulhed

    Hi baldie Your right not new i got the rifle for a steal the stock was a mess and their was loads of fowling in the chamber and the locking lug recesses it took me 2 day to get a clean patch out of the barrel and all the dirty grease and grime out of the action.I refinished the stock and now the rifle looks clean but i will try shooting the barrel in i will let you know how i get on.     Hi baldie Looks like the way i will go and i will try your barrel running in method on a nice little tikka m55 222 i have just got that is shooting at best 2 and a half inch groups at 100yards and see if it makes it better. Cheers paulhed

    Hi baldie Cheers for the reply so if i got hoppes No 9 for powder and carbon fowling and butch's for the copper do you think that will work fine. Cheers paul

    Hi baldie I did read your post on what you use what i want to know is that if their is one place where i can get kg1 and butch'bore shine i have found them but on different shop website wich means 2 delivery charges and i just though there might be one shop that i could get them from.     Hello everyone Can i just start of by saying i am new to posting stuff on this forum.I have read lots of posts on many different topics and find this forum very informative and full of nice and experienced people.I look forward to reading and posting many topics in the future to better my sport and will give any advise i can to anyone. The reason i posted this in rimfire, centrefire, and shotguns is because that is what i am into.I love all aspects of the sport and i look forward to chatting to everone in the near future.     Hi have you give a 20g any thought they will do everything you want but not as hard hitting as a 12g
