New gun and permission now that is a good day atb FV

Well after a bit of deliberating on which air rifle to go for finally made me mind up. Went to local gun shop today and bought a second hand aa s410k .177 in wallnut stock with weirach(excuse spelling) silencer, 2-7x32 tasco scope carry case pellets and filled up ready to go. Six month garantee full history of gun, one previous owner in pristine condition. Staff were exellent and if not happy with gun full refund available all for £500 one happy chappy. Use this stuff called selsan pink colour like a thick custard . Have it at work animal friendly and kill`s every bacteria and it has a deodariser in it. Great for everything court`s ,hutche`s,kennel`s needless to say a few bottle`s ended up at mine cheer`s FV

Just wondered how everyone`s season had went or is still going? Must admit i have had a enjoyable season,some good result`s and some not so good day`s. Some day`s caught lot`s of rabbit`s and other day`s two`s and three`s but whatever the number allway`s enyoyed it. Met some good decent people aswell along the way and look forward to seeing them in the future. Hope you`s have had a good season or are continuing to have a good one ATB FV

I`ve had doo-gooder`s have ago at me whilst out ferreting on one of the local farms. Around this farm and through it there are alot of public footpath`s. One day i was out busy ferreting away doing the job for the farmer ,few walker`s stopped to comment on how they did`nt see many folk`s out these day`s ferreting. Had a bit crack with them and they wished me good luck with the rabbits , i said thank`s and got back to the task in hand. After catching a few rabbits i noticed a walker appear with a dog. Did`nt pay much attention to her untill she stopped and said to me "i hope your only catching -

Decent looking fish as well mate. I used to fish up at tweed dale some good fish in there sometime`s fished the specimen pool. Good fish and very good fighter`s atb FV

I read somewhere that dogs sometime`s piss on there bedding as a scent thing . FV

Used the small brass minnow`s worked well, but use the real mcoy bobbing the minnow now that is lethal. Caught more brownie`s this way than any other method of fishing atb FV.
