    Been flooded myself jigsaw and its a not a good experience . Spent 9 months in a 21 foot touring caravan and it did me head in to say the least . That was 2009 and they have done the odd bit of maintenance to the flood wall were i live . The main work starts next year its all down to money , nothing new there then . In the mean time the people live in fear of being flooded again and again allthough thankfully it hasnt happened . But it is the not knowing will it or wont it happen again that distresses people . Home insurance went up some people couldnt afford to get insured or keep it going .

    Couldnt agree more..........i think for England to cap a real youngster he,s got to be one of these superstars in the making like Rooney/Owen was.......i dont think we,ve got the bottle to chance our arm on just a good promising youngster playing for a lower league club i remember watching quite a few championship players last year wondering why id never heard of them before....theres some good young players out there. Thats half our problem we just dont show enough belief in the youngsters out there and there is talent out there . We have to change things in the england set up if we are to

    I have always believed that the England team should be drawn from all the divisions, young hungry players with a few old heads to steady the ship.....plus it would add that extra competition for places which is always a good thing in football. Totally agree

    Good point lanesra nearly every english club had a few scotsman . Its as if scotland has lost a generation of footballers . I dont think money is to blame as that is something that is lacking in the scottish game .

    Gnash how many players have you seen play for england that shouldnt have ... and the amount that should have . I agree with you on the fact if there good enough they will play irregardless of there age . And in many aspects england should do the same and no matter if they play for a championship side , if there doing the biz and are the form players they should be in the team .

    I think we have had sum quality foreign players play these shores and sum mediocre ones to . We have also had sum fantastic home grown talent and sum not so good . But i think foreign players are often blamed for our national games failures .

    A think the german league has improved the most in recent years . I think in the last 10 years you have had Munich , dortmund, werder bremmen ,stuttgard , wolfsburg and maybe another all win there league . Going off that you would have to say thats a fairly healthy league even if munich are 20 points clear this year .
