Well today was the ferrets and harris hawks first venture of the season on sum local land . To be honest me and my mate were"nt expecting to much as the female harris hadnt done much flying due to a late molt and me with the ferrets as it had just been to bloody wet and cover still being high . So decided on a a farm were it was more or less hedgerow work . Well im making a start tomorrow with the stinkers on a bit local land not expecting much to be honest but we will see .

With my last pair of boots well and truly worn out i thought it was time to splash sum coin on a new pair . After a bit of deliberating on the brand i decided on meindl with the dovre being my top choice . S off to my local gun dealers and tried a pair of dovre extreme on and found them to very comfy and a good boot . However i got my eyes on the meindl antarktis gtx and tried them on . Found them to be even more comfortable than the dovres and a fine looking boot . So that was me sold and they were put behind the counter as i got me eyes on sum new tay muck boots and bagged them to . Was near

Interesting brimmer you work in a manner which is best suited to you and the old fella and results tells the story . As i said you know your ferrets and land better than i do and the way you work does the job . Interesting to see how people work differing land and warrens with there animals . Im of the opinion your never to old to learn something new rather than being of the i know it all and theres plenty out there that think they know it all . Another good read brimmer and respectable bag considering the amount of digs . Personally i have to agree with tomo and would be using more ferrets to push the rabbits out . Not knocking your methods as you know how your ferrets work . We all go about our ferreting in different ways and have different opinions on hunting styles and techniques . Thats what i enjoy about hunting is the learning of new ways and seeing how people do things differently , atb fv

Come on the toon we can put a end to our not winning at anfield . Liverpool have been poor this season and to be honest newcastle have struggled to click into gear this season . Never had the same starting 11 out this season and its been plain to see. Compared to last season it was virtually the same team week in week out and that was key to our success. A will be happy with a win the day get our season up and running
