ive got a few of dh books and mags they are top notch, they are from a man that has and still walks the walk.he tells it how it is, his writings are from years of experience in the field, he has a go at the corrupt goverment, stands up for terrier and lurcher work, even after his set back, he is back out with his mates and his dogs, WHO COULD FILL THE MANS SHOES, THE ANSWER IS NO ONE, as for the edrd mag not being very good, dh said the mag belongs to its readers, so if your not happy get writings articles for him to publish,

hi stormrider, im new to the bullx also, had collie types before, both were hancoxs breeding and both of them were very good at finding stuff in cover, and both were fairly obedient around sheep, but the bullx i have is better at finding and will go through any cover at all to get her prize, she has put up stuff and hunted it like a fox hound, if she comes across aline she gets her head down and she will work it, she will hedge like a terrier, if she stops along a hedge or what ever, i just wait and watch her go. from what ive seen she knocks spots off the collies ive had, down side is she is

seen abit on the news today, the trapper was using hazel nuts as bait in a live catch trap , there were three nuts on a thread hanging at the back of the cage , good idea i thought. i think he said he had caught over 200.

hold him off untill the autumn at least, let him watch and listen to another dog working, then let him have alittle look in, if you try him now he may bump into a vixen with cubs, can you guarantee to do the whole job with a novice, or he may bump into summut else and then the shit could hit the fan, but its your dog and your time youve put in,

was the dog injured, or did he just stop.

is it the one that writes in the cw, april the 9th mag is a belter, had a dog that never missed a fox, ffs Don't read CMW regularly, so not seen the article, but if they say they had a dog that never missed a fox, more than likely! you must get the issue its worth every PENNY,duck weed in a running river in mid november when winters were bitter cold, and fox snapping at inches from face , its a must, lmfao, sounds a tailor made article for the cmw. Any chance of scanning it on the net? would love to read it. Nice to see how a proper dog works sorry no scanner, my work mate buys it,

spot on have not been to a show for a couple of years never take the dogs just go along for a day out and take every thing you see or hear with a pinch of salt fair shout fellas, ive got my terriers for diggin and abit of flushing, and i do give a shit, im on about border terriers now, when you work your dogs and breed from dogs that are dug to many times, and are trying to keep the working instinct in the breed, it can get you down abit when old mister and missis lard arse with her or his show dog win the class, the more classis they win the more pollution, and by that i mean unworked untried
-
they must be good, he goes to a few shows,
-
some shows have a class for entered terriers, as for your mate being criticised for his dog having some teeth missing, well, i would of told the so call terrier judge, of a working terrier show, to f**k off to crufts.
-

For christ sake get her to the vets. If you can't afford the vets bill, then you should not have the dog in the first place. What a totally irresponsible attitude to have are you really going to risk your dog's life? spot on, nick barker he dont fancy paying the vets bill, what a cock
