  1. Still the odd good lad out there breeding from workers but you won't find them on preloved. I was gifted pick of the litter at 6 weeks when I went to get my brindle bitch off a lad on here and I paid £150 for my pup at 6 weeks also off a lad on here. I just like being nosy mate. When I'm ready for a pup I'll be looking on here or asking friends.
  2. Not really looking as not ready for a pup yet but I was shocked how many 300-400 pound litters where on there. I'd pay the money for the right dog but when your reading advert and it's something like. 3boys 4girls mum is staffyxwolfhound and dad is toy poodle x whippet and look like they've never worked a day in there life, it don't half grate a bit. Sound old now but I remember when litters where 100-150 from proper working dogs. There must still be some out there. Rant over hahaha
  3. If your struggling to get any young pigeons let me know and I'll see what I can do. I always breed too many ?
  4. No trouble at all if not racing get very time consuming when racing though haha
  5. Dose it matter what they are cocks hens etc I move all mine together cocks and hens makes no difference until they get sexually active.
  6. I wean my young birds between 24-28 days. Then I let them out pretty much straight away but they can't fly. Then over a few weeks will get stronger fliers.
  7. It would take a while before you can take them and they will fly back to yours. Like said above be best getting young or just breeding off the old birds and let the young out.
  8. Smart looking dog. All the best.
  9. That's brilliant. What a dog ?
  10. Never say it work but spoke to a guy with a standard poodle cross greyhound. It was massive. Bloke said it worked well but wouldn't have a 1st cross again because was too big
  11. Shame I only wanted to pay £449 for my new dog. Suppose I'll have to keep looking.
  12. Your mate sounds like a top bloke ? Glad you decided to join.
  13. One day maybe people will have what ever dog they want and not moan about other men's dogs. You don't like them great don't have one just get over yourself. Like being at school. Onto the original post I've always wanted a non-ped for racing during summer.
  14. Gone for the weekend shift so got 4 days off a week plenty of time ?
  15. Anybody wanting to get the best out of their jukels will, others won,t.Work, family and life get in the way of whats best for the lurcher, the best lurcher workers work em,regardless, others have mutts that will never reach theirs,or their owners potential. Its not rocket science, graft them as and when,if thats not enough for the dogs, don,t own dogs. I was curious as to what shifts people work and find suit working dogs as I've been given a few options at my new job. Which ever shift I get on I will take the dogs out accordingly
  16. I think only people who have them 8 day weeks can work and have dogs lol.
  17. I'm working days at the min but got a few options so got some thinking to do.
  18. Sorry if in wrong section. What shifts do people find good to work to get most out hunting your dogs?
  19. How have people found collie greyhound x bull greyhounds are like listening to other people? My old dog was brilliant with me but when my mum took him to the far he wouldn't listen to her or if my dad tried to get him off sofa he just ignored him. ?
  20. Collie/grey x bull/grey for me I'd definitely have another when I see the right pup forsale
