What was the problem with no.3?

I could be wrong but i thought a sustained period (5-10 days) of minus weather was needed to kill the adults off. Sadly any eggs in warrens and suchlike places will survive to hatch in spring or when it warms up. Don't think last year's mild winter helped mr bunny much.

Good point there with the cocking of springers lads! Even an unloaded one is a dangerous bit of kit for a youngster! The thought of a half cocked springer snapping back on them little fingers goes right through me... it really really does! Atb steg

I have the Airmax4-16 ×50 30sf and love it! Not so sure how it compares to others in low light but it's a seriously accurate scope! It's fine ret might not suit some but it does me dawn and dusk with the red ir on no problem. Bunny 51 yards and Maggie 58..

Will get easier Phil..pain will go and you'll be left with good memories..like I have mate! Almost 15 years old..arthritis got worse and i couldn't see her struggling anymore. You did the right thing..chin up pal!

Think they had a problem with their barrels not long back and recalled a lot back? Not sure what models were affected though..

Cheers JJ..he's a .22 springer through and through sort of lad, but seeing what the 100 (.177) does has got him thinking about pcp/multishot/.177. He's having one simple as! The 100/ Airmax/ Harris pod weight puts him off so i think weight is an issue more than looks around his perm.

Hw110 or brocock compatto? Old shooting buddy of mine has narrowed it down to one of these two in 177. (63 year's young) Don't ask me why these two lads but he's close to pulling some hard earned out very soon and i can't help him out with this one as I've had nothing to do with either..any advice to pass on..pro's or con's? I had the same bother about a year ago when i put my first post up..felt a right ignorant git i did! Just got to be patient ..once you get 4 or 5 approved posts on you'll be fine mate. Annoying as feck it is..no like or pm option, you reply and send and then it's out of your hands..could be an hour or the next day your reply pops up. Was a member 10 years ago and was different back then..a change for the better i suppose. Atb steg

Like a bit of both meself ? There's an old boy i go out with..(ffs I'm digging myself a deeper hole here haha) suffered a heart attack a few year's ago out on his perm..luckily near the farmhouse and he won't go out alone now so i get phone call once or twice a month off him for a look out which is a nice change of scenery. Gets picked up and dropped off too the crafty old fox! Ha

dont matter what weight steg, they both travelling at 750 ft/s,still take .26 to travel 54 yds and surprisingly still look to miss low in pic, dj Nice one DJ... i could have put that better i suppose. Was thinking about the 50ft/lb calculation with 25.39 grain pellet that's all mate. Atb steg
