  3. Sorry, just my opinion that's all , "why not make a vid" think it would make top viewing . And what a promotional video for your Plummers
  4. Why don't you video them doing such a task and remove all doubt from my mind.
  5. Happy grass... Puppy peddler. Just silly name calling really. You made the comment on cockers and there crosses suffer badly with their ears and not as good as your dogs in cover. Even though you've never owned one or worked one Practice what you preach ........ The whole litter went local all worked and none have ear damage !!! So I think I'm qualified to reply to your flippant comment on your post about the cross. Regardless who posted it
  6. Very nice pair Mud, how old ? Mine tends to go on "point" before flushing which is handy for the runners.
  7. Plucky , never seen a cocker with overly damaged ears in my 15 years of beating as for the cross , what a crock of shit !!!!! My bitch is six now bred by myself , works the lamp... Rats as good if not better your plum xs..will work a field in front of the runners ..mark warrens an works the nets...an can put a shift in as good as spaniel on shoot day. She killed 26rats just before taking pic Do her ears look damaged !!!!!!!!
  8. I work cockers , which are good to beat and shoot over but as bashers to lurchers are limited . They rely too much on instruction, add a terrier / cocker x and they hunt and hold the line better imo. Most cockers aren't as highly strung as most springers I've found. My cock russel is a pleasure to work be it ratting bashing or beating.
  9. Two from the past. One for the future.
  10. Walk the dogs around the sheds at night , they will soon start bumping into them. Take an air rifle an use the terriers as back up. Feed the odd rat to the ferret and persevere Just remember ...patience .. It will not happen overnight. Atb th.
  11. Have the ferrets been entered to rats ? Is there a dog to mark the holes. ? Just because the rat warren looks well used doesn't mean it's lived in. Atb th
  12. Thanks again Ken , nice gesture too.. The does only carried 1" young. The glory must go to kens ferrets , who worked four hard days without fault. Apart from the interference , locator/solar panels , we all worked like a well oiled machine. See you all soon .... Atb Treehands .

  17. Out ratting again on the waste reception site again , with a couple of extra dogs. Started quite slow at first, then after a bit of midland muscle we hit in to them. With a little bit of hand catching from the big man.
