Do you think this is the beginning of the product line trim? Where HW move away from spring?

I have always had more success with .22 but that could be due to experience, eg my first guns were .22. I live on a windy hill and most shots are lying or kneeling on open ground or from cover across open ground. So wind affect must play a part. Have you noticed this?

It must be frustrating for people who have all the gear but no legal place to shoot. I have posted before that renting land isn't that expensive, and usually this is prime agricultural for growing things or feeding stock. Not the rough ground that vermin thrive on. I imagine there is actually a fair demand for land to shoot on, someone enterprising could make a fair income. In my locality an acre can be as high as £40k to buy but only £75 per year to rent and again that is the good stuff.

What kind of car is it? There will be a forum with good advice somewhere like Honest John Does sound like limp mode. Modern cars are so reliant on sensors.

Is it right that Daystate are now part of the RWS Group? Is there fall off of quality since then? Sometimes happens when companies become part of a larger company, though you would expect the reverse. -

If you are not proud,, you can use an IBC with the top cut off. I couldn't find an exact picture but you get the idea. https://quartzridgeranch.files.wordpress.com/2012/12/20-img_2179.jpg You can pick one up for about £30. Worth paying a bit more for a clean one though. -
I bought some of these a year ago but from a shop in Halifax, they were £. Sheeesh, not paid that much for wellies before. They lasted 8 months before they leaked but I think they may have been pig nibbled. I am using carrier bag liners until I can amass enough rubber solution for a permanent repair The good thing about steel toecaps is that (like weebles) they stay upright.

Idea For A New Veg Garden/plot
PeskyWabbits replied to Rabid's topic in Living Off The Land & Game Cooking
I generally start my seedlings on window sills. I can't have a greenhouse as they blow away. I shall be making cold frames myself this year, probably from a wooden frame and a bent over corrugated roofing panel (clear of course). I also cadged a shower door from my neighbour, so trying to make a frame for that. He probably wouldn't have given it me if he knew my plan. He looks over the wall and sighs enough. Slugs can be the nemesis of cold frames. -
Back in my youth I was a petrol pump attendant on a Saturday. We had strict instructions on what containers were allowed to be filled, which were jerry cans and vehicle fuel tanks only. My supervisor let two little lads fill a bucket with petrol for their mini moto and it went everywhere as they weren't strong enough to lift it and it sloshed all over.

PC Engineer. So pressing plastic keys for a living. Sometimes I get to use a screwdriver though. Not really into PCs so it's just a job. Though I get a buzz from a successful fix. I don't play computer games and I've never used an X-box. Live on a 5.5 acres small holding which is where my heart lives.

Am impressed that you don't seem to wear any cammo. In fact, not even dark clothes.

Hw100 Kt.177 And New Ghillie Suit Do The Business

Well done. A good tally. Nice photos and look at that blue sky. We haven't seen anything like that for a while -
I didn't have any health issues with mine. I was a bit worried when the ground got boggy. Pigs are susceptible to pneumonia. My first choice slaughterhouse let me down and delayed the end for 2 weeks. I would have been in trouble if it had been later than early November when they went as I think it has rained for everyday since. The pig run looks like the Somme battlefield now. They did come with worms though. My local vets wouldn't supply any worming stuff till they had had a health check. So... the vet came, looked over the fence, said 'healthy pigs' then gave them each a worming

Mine were gilts (girls). I had been warned about boar taint, though I wasn't planning on keeping them long enough for this to develop. Keeping pigs was really good fun and the meat is excellent. I had lots of 'pig tourists' during their stay too. Make sure that everything in their run is not going to cause them injury if they chew it. I put in half an IBC as a non-draining mud bath and when they out grew it, I put in a fibre glass moulded pond - big mistake - I had to dig it out asap. Difficult when as soon as you go in the run, they are next to you. I had to dig it out in the

Hello and welcome. It is a good forum here, plenty of expertise

http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/topic/351571-oink-oink/ Mine were Gloucester Old Spot. I have just done my first year of pig. Tamworths and GOS are really friendly. Tamworths really slow growing though. Weaners are usually £15 to £30 for rare breeds. Maybe more from a dedicated breeder. Hybrids tend to be more but grow rapidly. The norm is April to November, else you will need somewhere warm and dry. Don't forget the electric fence or they will be visiting your neighbours

Wow, a Buccaneer! That's a Scorpion pistol with a thumbhole stock.

Just curious how you all got into this sport. For me, I had always been in to guns, cars, military aeroplanes and anything WWII I bought a BSA Meteor .22 off my best pal at school for £15. He sold it to buy a BSA Airsporter. Then he later sold that to get an Ensign Elite (they later became Saxby & Palmer Galaxys) My Mum wasn't best pleased and ransacked my bedroom trying to find it. But didn't look between the mattress and the bed. We then moved to my Grand parents house in the sticks and it wasn't such a crime to own a gun but I still had to wait till she was out. I

How straightforward is buying from Holland or Germany? The Weihrauch stuff is really tempting and they also do specials that you don't see over here.
