well done lads when things go right there is nothing like it.

have had this problem before. and believe me it can have nothing with early entering although it some time can be the cause but i dont think in your case. i had a decent dog to fox that did this while running and it was just him being frusted as he hated them that much. all it did was hunt him as often as i could on them and he settled on them well or even give him a few buunies first if you are out lamping . my old dog would still do it when chasing them in thick cover in the day but. hunt the f***k out of the dog and you might be surprised it worked for me. all the best macker

i must of missed that hole post on that day at the rats. the most i have got was sixty odd with six dogs and a couple of ferrets we where on the side of a dump and brought some young lads to jump on top of the rubbish while we stood in the rat runs with our terriers we did not catch as much as we seen it was some laugh we had but. used to do a fair bit of it before i got addicted to lurchers your pics brought back some great memories. with a bit of luck you might break the hundred mark this season. -
skin the rabbit and use it for a dummy. otherwise never walk towards the the dog i find slowly walking away giving lots of praise works wonders. hopefully the dog was just enjoying the moment and will improve on the next one best of luck with her nothing like seing the first catch all the best macker

the programme gave a good account of the four years of torture the antis put the family of a gunie pig farm. from stalking them to vandalism and finaly digging up their mother in laws grave and holding them to ransom to close the farm down .which they did. the four that got caught got twelve years each and one gave the whereabouts of the remains.sick b******s :realmad: how these scum did not get shot by one of the family i will never know.say they where on the verge of mental breakdowns.

just turned on tv. crime watch uk is on bbc1 now will be covering the case about the antis scum that dug up some ones grave.

it has happened to me before and it definatly will again. some times you just have to take a deep breath and start again. can be difficult to be honest some times.

them pups andy wher ment to be very good and where kept close and worked hard for the reasonable amount of game over here i have been told. and alot of people keep lurchers of any breed just for fashion. but i have been lucky to be out with some of the top lads at the hare coursing and can say they are comming back in numbers in dublin and in louth there has alway been a good amount and still is with alot of people comming down from northtern ire to these spots just for it.still possible to catch three or four hares with the right dog on daytime hares single handed. lamping wise i am

just got back to dublin from spending the weekend at the show. was well worth the trip. might do it again next year. take me a while to recover

best of luck with your pup savageboy im sure if you had a seasoned worker that was picking up daytime bunnys no problem there would of been little or no bunnys sitting out far enough for a slip take it easy macker

sorry to hear about your troubles last night hopefully the dog will ok too. to be honest your rifle can be replaced and both you and your dog will recover. i am sure others that have not got away so lightly with the scum thats around today. them type of lads will get it soon enough they always do and are never as tough on their own. take it easy macker
