yes the bitch is doing well in cover and under ground. missed a few foxes six i think . still managed to get five digs and some great hunts. talk soon macker

was doing my best to keep off this topic. in reply to shamo which alot of his post i agree . but a good weaton is very game and are not a breed to compare to each other. the bull is a killing machine the weaton a working dog to me its like comparing a staff to a patterdale one will kill the other but its hard not to respect the terrier. and every thing in hunting seems easy until you give it a try especialy if its a competition. some of my friends that like the bulls not agree with me but. just to me its not all about killing but have seen plenty of terriers that would fight to de

have a young dog black and white as where the hole litter. neither parents or grand parent had the same colour as pups . no other dogs in the lads yard that bred them but with bull and also grey hound can be hard to tell what colour pops up when breeding. might be that you are worring too much. hope it works its self out. macker

have been noticeing young rabbits and a lot of leverets around too macker

not sure spindolero he used to be on here a fair bit. only my him the once at a show in wales when friends where collecting two pups from him the other dog is flying and have had three or four proper digs with him i have heard.caught and killed a fox in cover one of his first times out. so the lads are more than pleased.have a decent bite even the bitch has a surprising hard bite on her for her size . all the best macker

he has had a couple but not on his own. have been carefull with him as he has been very much like a pup. still is . will be out with me all the time when digging but will make sure not over do it. i let go vixens after christmas anyway(when possible and when alowed ) the dog is lurcher cross lurcher for over thirty years. mainly weaton greyhound bull greyhound wippet. some deerhond in grandmother but cant really notice in the breeding now. all the best macker

hello des hope your dog follows his footsteps. have put alot of time into him and is catching alot more bunnys all retrieved and alive. the lurcher is nearly fifteen months lurchers 2006. thanks macker

got two handy digs today the first was in a wood with about ten or more holes my young lurcher did very well following my terrier as it backed a big fox to a stop end left my phone in the car some thing i always leave behind. decided we would try get another for my friends young pickaxe bitch. had my own terrier doing the cover and he found an earth but way very tight. i knew by my own dog it was holding and looked nice and shallow perfect for a pup . entered the bitch and half an hour later dug her out in grips with back end of fox. it was the first time for the lurcher to pull and

half of the time the reflextion of the street lights on the clouds have the place lit up. some times i just look at the moon on the way out. :11: have had great nights on all phases of the moon. and if the local fox has worked the field before you got there wont really matter what the moon is like . either side of full moon will do me
