  4. good advise there from shawn. had a dog some time back and vet removed middle toe. dog lost out a fair bit on the turns . after it was removed he broke one after another. just to let you know most vets have not got a clue about feet on racing dogs. as was said earlier a good greyhound vet is the only way. even clipping the nail right back would be new to all but the greyhound vets . which was one of the good things i learned and makes a lot of sence. a good rest and hope all works out for you. macker

  16. definatly less in ireland a hell of alot more foxes but. another question for me would be are these numbers achieved on foot or are they achieved of the back of a pic up.truck. some thimes i think some lads are defrostng their freezer and showing a couple of nights lamping .not pointing the finger at any one but these huge numbers are poping up very often.
  17. fair play to the mods for letting this thread run its course.its a classic. had two hancocks liked the man but was surprised by his setup. the man is old now and can under stand why he is breeding from untested stuff.an old dog dealer he is but it think its time he had a break from us. even if dogs did not even nearly make the grade but as any breeder knows it can a bit of pot luck. the dogs i bought where bred the exact same way he told me. which half of the dog dealers dont even know what way their dogs are bred and truth be known alot of litters these days are by mistake. best of lu
  18. a good mate of mine has two bitches of that chaz. working very well too. one has a couple of seasons under her belt. the other will be starting her first full season. seems a nice line of terrier might take on one of my mates pups as my own terrier will be retired this season i think. macker
  19. the first big dog fox that he gets a nasty bite from not just the odd bite but one that makes it hard for him will usually change their tempement. i found with some fox dogs that they will usually click in when they find it tough. or some times jack. with a bit of luck he continue to improve it only a puppy thing or or even just a stage older dogs on their first seson can go through. all the best macker
  20. i live in a counsil estate but own my house. so this law says that i can keep a staff english bull or any of the other eleven breeds which are banned but my neighbour which rents his house cant keep any of the banned breeds. sounds like discrimination to me and wont hold up in court. and what about the estates that are no go areas for garda dont think they will give a shit about dogs being well looked after but in rented houses. think they have better things to be doing. there is a lot of people getting their dogs attack trained now. and are usually sheapards and other type dogs. i th
