  1. the second was gret crack lost the terrier for 45mins and lurcher bitch found the earth with dog in ground. a good finish to the day as it rained most of it.
  2. had two digs with patterdale085 and northsider terriers working well for us.
  3. i think tom par had one and bred off it has been a couple around so i believe but not made and impression on the working dogs we have already hope this is some help macker
  4. cheers sent in no rush. the last time i sliped her she nearly ran from my house to darndale no stride either no joke. starting retrive ball already still a long way from bunnys but showing some interest atb macker
  5. the bitch has no manners at all irish lurcher once she sees some thing she is gone and just keeps on going and going and going. nothing at all has been done with her at all i will have my hands full to be honest. doing an hour a day with her and younger dog. some change in the young dog since i have him hope she will follow the same way. will bring the bitch out for a couple of runs tonight just to see how her manners are comming on. going out foxing on sunday and might give her a look at a dead fox. even tough she is sixteen months i think she has the mentality of a much young

  8. thanks irish lurcher have to sort them pics out before i put them up next time. oldschool the mother was weaton grey irish terrier grey. and the father was from an old line of deerhound in ireland with some irish terrier in it too.ran with the best on hares and killed any thing it was sliped on. proven stud so fingers crossed as the dog is fourteen now and cant get the leg over my mate even tried artificialy in vet with no luck. macker

  11. some great replys there lads with out getting into arguments which can happen to often i think. i really think the really top class dogs out there can some times adjust to alot of our needs. alrounder is well to used these days alot of people have them but when you see them most of the time they are not what we hoped. craking topic macker

  13. most of the people that have never seen a good alrounder is because they dont do alround work them selves or are going for specialist bred dogs for their quarry. the last one i know of is fourteen now. think people get carried away with the word alrounder i think if you have a dog that you never have leave behind in the yard for everything you hunt its an alrounder and have seen some very good alrounders make a show of specialist dogs be it bull crosses and saluki crosses. the only thing is they are that hard to get they can be once offs. give me a good alrounder anyday as half of the

  16. i have seen and had alot worse than them pics . they look ok to me . bad feet to me are when the dog is always lame if dont have trouble i would not worry. i think sky cat was talking about the condition when the nail has to be clipped all the time as the nail is not facing the ground any more.which can be a problem some times. hope this is some help macker

  18. just nipped out for a quick shine other night local just to get some fitness up on me and the dogs. sent after a bunny which she missed and smashed the cover was wondering what was keeping her so long when i heard my mate break his hearth laughing when i turned on the lamp this is the way she looked. might be hard to see came back with a crate rapped around her

    was out today and the missus had me looking at one of theses apple mac computers it seemed to be good needing no anti virus software. if any one on uses them or knows a bit more about them would be a great help on weather this is a good buy or not. or is a windows computer still the better choice? any help would be greatfull all the best macker
  23. thats a weaton grey only a small bitch but had more fox than alot of bigger dogs that we know bred some good pups from her too macker
  24. hope all is well paddy31 northsiders red dog is doing well have not dug to him yet my self up to my eyes getting lurchers fit at this time wont be long now but. best of luck with you red terrier im sure he will do just fine. even lad lads entitled to an opinion just not sure he has the right one half the time. this is pic is after one the best hunts i had with northsider. bolted fox with from cover and lost hound terrier and lurcher for about two fields only to find hound and lurcher marking a hole and the terrier had fox to ground with handy dig in an eath we never knew was there.
