  1. There is an App on Andriod that you can put on your phone to automatically log Asian Hornet nests. I got it this year, see how many, if any, I see in the season. I did a monster European Hornet nest last year, scared the living shite outta me.
  2. The iZettle app on your phone works via your 3G or 4G connection. You just need a decent phone signal. The app connects to your card machine via Bluetooth, put the amount in, put card into machine (or contact-less but I have one of the very old machines), hey presto. With this lot there is no monthly charge, but they do charge 2.75% per transaction.
  3. Refer to GL-04 General Licence. Personally, I wouldn't try that with a 12ft/lbs air rifle.
  4. I met the bloke who designed both at Pestex this year. He said AR8 was better, just don't put as much Ficam in if you are worried about amount it discharges. Plus, you don't have blockages as no long tube full of powder... How much do you want for it Dirksdonuts?
  5. I'm getting a AR8 jobby this year, sick of climbing ladders. I have a feeling it is going to be buzzzy.... ??
  6. (Providing you aren't transporting Ali phos) bags of loose bait should be in a suitable bund (I use a big plastic barrel), plastic tubs are just okay to transport as is. Liquid pesticides should likewise be inside another larger bund (plastic box). Also, if you look a the label there is information about transporting certain products and what you need to do. I also have a first aid kit, a chemical spill kit and a fire extinguisher, don't forget your "no smoking sign" (although I don't think this matters if you don't have signage on the side of the van). Sounds silly but make sure you have a ha
  7. Sorry Vin. Not those boxes but I have used other boxes that are much cheaper very effectively.
  8. Trade is £4.37 + VAT per box. Much much cheaper elsewhere....
  9. Not done it myself but I have a couple of pictures from times past of this exact thing.
  10. Probably to put on stuffed Birds Don't birds usually come with feet preattached?? ??
  11. That is a very interesting website, one day I would love to have a go at making a pelt. Now, can you tell me what the purpose of selling birds feet is?
  12. So I got one of these yesterday, my first PCP. Wow, talk about accurate compared to my old springers. Very smooth and very quiet, well impressed. Now I have been using Bisley Pest Control pellets in my springers, any tips on a pellet that would better suit this type of gun? I managed to get one stuck in the magazine yesterday, probably my fault as being cack handed as new to this type of loading, but I thought I would try other pellets so if anyone has suggestions? Cheers.
  13. It's another example of the stupidity of thieves. The people concerned were having work done to the house and the day before the robbery they had a load of stuff delivered, tools and such, which was put in the garage. The thieves broke in through the garage roof, nicked all the stuff inside and managed to find a key to get into the house. There they took money, valuables, computers and the dog, as well as the car keys, and they took the car. The car was found close by burnt out the next day. The couple concerned made a massive effort to get the dog back, the rest of the stuff was insur
