Thanks fellas. I am pretty good with drilling into walls and such, but delicate work isn't my skill set. And as for removing the action... that would mean I have spare bits at the end. I will see if I can find someone to do it for me.

I got one of the swiveling bipods. It's not really obvious how it actually attaches to the rifle. Anyone got any ideas?

Go to Pestfix directly as they are the importers of these products. But it sounds like it'll be a difficult job to stop them landing on the houses if they are feeding off the waste transfer site. If they are lesser black backed gulls of course they are available under a general licence.

Putange traps need no modification. They are efficient and humane killing tool straight out of the box. I'll be honest with you mate I think that you're talking the biggest load of bullocks I've heard in a long long time.

Trying to insist on mandatory 24-hour trap checking on traps that are designed to be lethal is absolutely ridiculous. Accidents can happen. I have had rats caught by their legs and tails and squirrels caught by their paws. All of the traps involved were legal and humane. To insist on checking every single humane lethal trap every 24 hours would put many of us out of business as we just would not be able to check every single trap every single day, when out on a job. And the way things are going with SGARS if they try and restrict our ability to lay traps as well then the country will

Come on we all know that an urban environment is not suitable for a rural fox and vice versa. How many people have posted on here saying that they've seen a fox has been released and they don't know what to do in the countryside and they can't find anything to eat in the countryside? That's just common sense. You can argue all you want but the reason that the animal charities get away with it is in the first instance they are providing medical care to injured or sick foxes. If the Fox is injured and you have given it medical attention to help it recover from his injuries ( I did make the distinction in my original post about a healthy Fox). This is what certain animal charities are regularly doing as you know. However, relocating a healthy fox just because you don't want around is to cause it to suffer unnecessarily. That's just the law and you're going to have to live with it.
