    Those little nipper traps are crap. The pins holding the metal frame down come away from the wood after a while, I have had my finger caught by them before because of it. Be aware!

    Was the need to disclose motoring convictions around a few years back? I have a speeding conviction from around 2006 (although I can't remember exactly as it isn't on my licence anymore) and I can't remember putting in down in 2013 when I last got renewed.

    I was doing a mouse job in a loft yesterday and came across half a dozen very old looking 12g cartridges. The customers husband (long dead) was a shooter so the lady told me to take them. Will they still fire do you think and if so safely? They are plastic and the metal is a fair bit corroded...

    You need to be under the supervision (meaning in his/her presence) of the Certificate holder, so, I believe that you and he were both breaking the law as he wasn't actually with you.

    I was just taking the mick on pervious Again, if it was so long ago and you have been clean since, and it was under the 3 year limit, and you declare it on your application, I am sure that if you do the interview okay then you will be granted.

    Fair enough. I did have some ferrets once, briefly, some years ago. Stinky little gits they were. Saying that, I do enjoy a bit of ferreting, just don't like keeping them.

    I'm no expert on ferrets, or polecats for that matter. But can you really tell what it is just by the colour? I mean, common rats (Rattus Norvegicus) come in a variety of shades and it's not a reliable way to distinguish between species for them?
