  1. You can buy low pressure steel shot carts. Asknyou local dealer.
  2. Or stick a Fenn in a box with some peanut butter and wait 2 days.
  3. Tell me more about that fanny licker?
  4. I agree. Problem is anyone can read it and not everyone on here is a supporter.
  5. I think the difference is Moxy, anyone can have a go at Mole catching. IMO snaring is more difficult and few will willingly share knowledge on an open forum. Let's face it, mess up Mole catching and no one will know. Mess up snaring and it can be very public.
  6. Ah. Yes, bigger gardens than I get. Saying that, I have lost count of the number of time I've had 2 moles out of the 3 Traps.
  7. How big was the garden? 6 seems a lot unless it was huge. I rarely put down more than 3 in a domestic. I think that too much digging might actually cause the Mole to spook especially if it was close by when you started working. As you say some will take no notice of the digging, but the tricky ones may just be more nervous of activity above ground. Typically if I get one I will leave it a couple of weeks and then put only one or two Traps down when I go back and that usually does the trick.
  8. I was doing some bird proofing for a school once. You can imagine it, Local Authority work so I had to jump through hoops, Method Statements, Risk Assessments, show them all my documentation etc. Anywho, when I was doing the work some nutter called the RSPCA and complained, all I was doing was was clearing the gull nests and putting up netting. RSPCA duly arrives at school telling them I was breaking the law, fortunately I had given the Premises Manager (we used to call them Caretakers) a copy of the General Licence pertaining to the work I was undertaking. RSPCA duly beat a hasty retreat. W@n
  9. The Queen has no power now. Blame the bloody politicians.
  10. A long time ago the King or Queen ruled the land, they ACHIEVED this by LEADING lesser men in battle and ORGANISING society. Firstly as towns and cities and then counties and eventually countries and nations. This Queen's ancestors were our leaders and masters, because they were greater, braver and stronger than other men. Now we have their descendants, who, whilst maybe not braver or stronger, rightfully remind us if our past and heritage. Their wealth and privilege was was won in past generations, nevertheless, they deserve it as they bring much more to our great nation than lesser men. Just
  11. So I was planting a couple of vines in the garden to cover up a wall and had 4 moles in a bucket in the van from a job the day before. So I bunged them in as fertilizer around the bottom of one of the vines. So, do you think it will grow bigger or quicker than the other one?
  12. I have done many many courses, some twice for CPD points. The air gun one is the least attractive, what a load of old tosh, money for old rope. I have SGC and have used that for Local Authorities contracts and they haven't once asked for "competency" test. Ridiculous.
  13. VPN is just a way for one computer to connect to a network of computers securely and share files and services. It doesn't block your IP address. In the past it was used by people working on my road or at home to connect to a business network. If you are accessing a VPN to view blocked content you are leaving yourself open to hackers and malware as likley they can access your computer via the VPN too.
  14. Assuming you want to join BASIS and that is why you are asking about CPD then the calendar year you get the RSPH Level 2 you can join without taking any further exams. Thereafter you need 20 points per year to stay on the register.
  15. I have been working alone for around 9 years. I like it, I can be a 'just get it done' type who wants to do the job and bugger off, which isn't great for anyone who is slow or stupid, or both. Saying that I really enjoy going out with my mates for beers and such and hate shooting alone, no one to witness those unbelievable shots!
  16. The Mole Man is Working Here - Come Steal My Traps ! Hahahahaha
  17. Lol. Shropshire Mole and his "for many years"....
  18. Per mole charges are unwise. I charge for what it's worth to me.
  19. I have what is called an "Irish Liver", on account of all my family hail from the Emerald Isle. It also means I can quaff many many Guinness on a night out, sing, fart and eat kebabs. But if I am working the next day, I don't touch the stuff.
  20. As the FAC is for you and not the land , your suitability to hold a FAC and all the checks that will entail, one would assume that seeing you would be a requirement.
  21. A nice thing about the Premium Game 12g I have is that what I point it at, I tend to hit. Mine has the 28" barrels as I like a shorter gun.
