  4. Perfect pitches....packed out stadiums.....record viewing figures......some of the worlds best talent......................and Millwall gone and forgotten about in the lower leagues.......yes id call that massive progress ! And your point is? One more time, part of his post is about the 1960s. and yes until Millwall is no more I will support them, is there a Problem With That My point is only a Millwall fan could possibly think that players rolling round in the mud chucking beer down their neck at half time were " the good old days " in terms of competetive sport...................

  8. Yes but by the same token Harry Cripps or Terry Hurlock wouldnt of lasted 2 minutes with the speed and technicality of todays premier league.......if you like watching people sliding about in the mud kicking each other up in the air go and watch rugby !.......but if you are a fan of pure football its called progress. Progress? part of this post was, and I don't think its been this open since the 60s. Old League today's League? I remember the ball is still round.
  9. The Premier League has absolutely nothing in common with the old Division One, I doubt if any one of the Prima Donnas of today could have lasted Two Minutes playing football at The Old Den against the late great Harry Cripps without shitting themselves on a 1960s pitch in winter, let alone kick a 1960s ball in the rain, sleet or just snow. Old League today's League? I remember the ball is still round.
  10. Good to see that you like it mac, you have willingly given a lot of time and effort to you rifles. All the best Renos just-A-snap
  11. You only get one ride on this particular roundabout, do not even think about it, if you get up in the morning then it is a good day. I for one am glad that I have lived with and seen to my mind a better Society. So until I reach the end of my Ticket Ride the smile is staying on my face.
  12. Are you there mark? Bloody good mate even blends in with the white background. That Jack Pyke does make exceedingly good Leaf Suites. Good Hunting
  13. The amount that makes you feel good, after all if you are happy then she will be more than happy. Most of us do not wish to be looked upon as miserly so for both I think it is a win, win. Diligence in ones work is becoming such a rare thing, if we perform above and beyond do we not if honest wish it to be recognized?
  14. He lives in Ireland where pits aren't banned. Sorry my mistake, just came in on this post
  15. It’s against the law to own a Pit Bull Terrier in the UK, that is my understanding
  16. If it is a Pit Bull Terrier then he is not going to the Police
  17. Could be an opportunist or someone you know, easy money is always tempting when you have no respect or give a shit for others or how hard they have to work. More than likely by now sold in some pub and proceeds injected in the arm.
  18. Glad to see you happy with your choice.
  19. Why is every one so surprised when the free lunch that is dangled in front of them find out that it is not after all free? Just look around you with this servile through away consumer society, In my mind most are of the servile through away consumer society and think that it is normal and do not give a shit. Only a few families now have a Treat, this Grumpy old Man would look forward to Easter for 94% of his Chocolate, and the old rag-and-bone trade for most of his pocket money. "Weeping Violins Playing in the background " Just my two penneth worth All the best Renos P.S. 94%
  20. Harry Roberts was also good at hiding, but could not hide forever, with a concerted effort to find him it took Forty odd Days. 1966 I remember it as if it was yesterday. Maybe the Big Cat playing Hide and Seek in the Countryside was 1966 World Cup Willie and now his Descendants "with Immaculate Conception" Who knows? Maybe. Olly Olly Oxen Free.
  21. Come on think of the entrance fee walshie, also as the Americans say film of the week. Money make the world go around, Cha Ching another one bites the dust.
  22. I was a child in the 1960s and remember pop stars and others having big cats as pets, also remember story’s every decade since then hyped by the media. Farmers have a very low threshold when it comes to fox and city dog attacks on life stock, if big cats [ cheetah size or so ] was also part of that problem believe you me we would all know about it. As to maybe the odd big cats in the wild, for my money Large Feral Cats.
