  1. Always better and worst options, if it was me I would go to my local RFD and try a few available rifles out. Having said that, loads of good advice on this forum and a lot will come your way, but at the end of the day it is your money and your choice. Good luck and all the best.
  2. When shooting yesterday I thought what price do i put on this set up i have here Gun £750 , Airmax Scope £230 , cylinder £150 and custom stock £180 = £1310 but to me it's worth one hell of a lot more than that , with the way it handles , shoots and how accurate it is !! Is that not all one can ask for? all when it come to shooting and the equipment used is personal, contentment has no price tag. From a Fifty Nine year old, old timer who only ever uses British Imperial, £sd, Miles, Yards, Feet and Inches, Acre, Pint and all the rest.
  3. Comes down to if it is doing the job that you want it to do, does it not? It is your rifle and your choice. All the best
  4. That was a good way to get rid of a hangover Rez. It was a wonderful day yesterday here in my part of London and already today is shaping up to be a scorcher, if the weather your way is anything like it is here and you are out and about then take plenty of water with you. By the way I have seen bigger cowboy builders, your effort is a palace compared to theirs. Tommy Walsh and I live in the same London Borough not to far apart, if I see him then I will point him your way. All the best
  5. Good on you for taking the time to give your grandfather the respect that he deserves. I hope you have many a good time with the HW100, good luck and all the best.
  6. Welcome and pleasant times
  7. Is not the ledge to large? I always thought the idea is to keep them in close to the feed and not moving around. I would use thin sheet metal around and overlapped on the lid, they can not lift it if standing or sitting on it, also may put them off trying to bite through it.
  8. Congratulations to all the family for this your newest member, hope mother and child are both doing well. The good lords blessings be on Danny Thomas and to you all. All the very best wishes from my family and I.
  9. If there is one thing missing now days then it has to be children that act like childhood has not past them by. Uncontrolled excitement is part and parcel of being a child, I for one hope she is flooded by it, so many things that excited me in my childhood have stayed with me as treasured moments in time. and yes it will be good to see her heart thumbing reaction when you present her with it. Nothing wrong being a twat , as mac said are we not all in our own way. All the best
  10. Like Odysseus, mac is of on one more Odyssey. The Odyssey lasted 10 years, I am sue macs will not. All the best mac
  11. villaman is correct about waiting to see how good or not the HW110 is, to my mind it will be a rifle that will give any other a run for its money, it can again to my mind be nothing less. you do not take over a brand name just to through it all away at the first opportunity. My gripe is with hype and constant misleading of availability dates. mac's grandson got a good deal with the HW100, the HW110 would have served just as well, who knows? The brand name being the HW100 family of rifles
  12. It appears that it has more and more become acceptable to announce a product launch with to my mind misleading information, if it is not ready or it is destined to be sold to another country’s market first, then a release date should be pronounced when the goods are actually available on the market. The ‪Weihrauch HW110 is not the only one that is late to the UK with the produced goods going to my mind elsewhere, the new range from NiteSite is more than a year over proclaimed availability date. Weihrauch and NiteSite are not the only ones who are doing this. Hope your son enjoys the
