I have never watched a centre fire round being reloaded from start to finish as I don't have centre fire but nevertheless I thought it was bloody good, well done that man. Phil

I stand to be corrected BUT I think Cheddite make them under licence so may be worth talking to Malmo Guns as they are the importers of Cheddite and really helpful people. They will know if I am right but it must be said............................I have been wrong on the very odd occasion ? Phil

So how did you get the rfd to get it sent back again after all the aggravation when they said it was fine because I got the impression they were no longer prepared to be involved. Whatever I am pleased you are getting somewhere with it. Phil

I'm lost here Jake, must have missed something. I thought you had no joy with AA after sending it back and all the trouble at the gun dealer, have you sent it back to Air Arms yourself or through another dealer. Phil

I must admit whilst our squirrel shoot only yeilds a fraction of Mitch's perm, but out of the dozen farm perms we have, we get a few bags of wheat from each for nowt so it builds up to see us through the season on pheasants and squirrels. Phil

Ditto, I bought these for both .177 and .22 at different times and you are spot on DB, it saves a lot of money. If I didn't find a suitable pellet in this lot, the gun would have been sold ? Phil

WHAT GUN...................................I can't see a gun Jimmy, you been drinking again. ? Phil -
Only available in .177 I believe which is a pity as most people say how good they are. You can also get H&N in sample packs as well so you can save a fair bit of money just to establish if they work well enough in your gun Jake, I think Voymir sell those as well. Buy a JSB sample tin which has 7 types or sizes of pellet and well worth it. Voymir sell them. Phil

If it is anything like Jimmy's, it will be spot on mate. Phil

I did a swap round of scopes last night in order to use my new Pard 007v so my two Hawke Airmax Compact 30 scopes are now on my Tikka .22lr and Sako Quad hmr as the bloody Pard doesn't like either my Hawke Varmint or MTC Mamba Lite scopes. I thought I could get away with using my Wildcat Panther .22 mod on the hmr but my god it was so noisy, a quick rumage in the drawers of the rfd and I took 5 assorted mods to test, the best was a .17 Wildcat Panther which had come in with a pile of stuff. £40 notes and I have a cracking mod and much better than £160. ? ? I don't think for one second a box shifter will simply change for a new gun, the service you get is proberbly better from your local rfd. Phil

As a matter of interest, I have just been to my rfd and a guy came in who was in your position so he is keeping his guns in storage at the rfd until such time as he knows his mind a bit better, I know it is at a cost but may be worth it in the short term. Good luck with it Jake whatever you decide mate. Phil

I have reason to be looking at security for a pal and the police gave me this link as it covers all aspects of gun security, look at page 9 which covers fitting a cabinet to a caravan so if it is possible to do that, you may find something in here that suits you. https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/953881/Firearms_Security_Manual_2020.pdf Phil

Strange........................... I will just try again. Phil -
Well I have spent a bit more time playing around with the new 007v 12mm and although it has taken me a little time to get there but I like it, pity it doesn't like all my scopes. With this version of the Pard 007v using my two Airmax Compact 30 scopes I got very good results and I have to say the field the other side of my cottage wall is 130mt to the tree line and at IR level 2 and the lens halfway out, I could easily see details in the grass by the trees and the wire fence so all good. As most of you know, I have been a NiteSite user for a number of years and never had a problem with them

Where have you been hiding Jon, it's an age since you have been on here...................................no excuses, just back involved matey, OR ELSE ? Phil -
Sorry to hear that, it is not what anyone wants. As you have had two years on the land, it would be worthwhile asking any and all ajoining landowners / tenents as they will know the previous farmer so you can reference him as your introduction. Failing that, it is a case of hitting the road and cold calling but it is very worthwhile to speak to EVERYONE you know and that means relatives, friends and work mates if they know anyone with land, check with allotments in your area as they can get pestered to death with pigeon, rabbits and rats even churches can have major issues with pigeon althoug

I have enough with Mitch and Jimmy without you starting Ben.......................................picking on an old gentlemen, not fair ? Phil

My pal bought one for his .22 rimmy, totally useless as you say, flogged it for £35 as I am guessing everyone knew they were no good. Phil
