PCP every day of the week. You should find an older BSA Ultra or Air Arms s200 in your budget, have a chat with John at Lock Stock and Barrel on Holme Lane as he gets loads of s/h guns in. Phil

Not certain but I think they were used in Austrailia on very close vermin but not aware you could buy one in the UK. The range was very limited and less use than a 3 bore garden gun which are cheap to buy (about £50-80) and cartridges are still available but few and far between. Phil

Your time will come Mitch and not too long........

Can't argue with that Mitch ?

Went over to Bridlington the other night for fish n chips along with a bit of drop netting with the kids and a bloke was whizzing along the harbour wall on an electric quad, I think it was a mobility job but it looked superb, chuck it in the back of the estate and take it on some of the perms. Okay, like Dave, I am an ole fart with a very wonky knee so it might come handy anyway..................................... my son in law pissed himself when I said I fancied one. ? Phil

Crow bashing with new technic.
philpot replied to Sausagedog's topic in Rimfire, Centrefire & Shotguns
I must admit that I love crow shooting over deeks but I normally shoot on maize when the shoots are just coming through as the birds seem very intent on getting as much as possible. Bloody good kill to cartridge ratio. Phil -
I do like the grips on the Impact which is not my thing, what is the mod on the Impact. Phil

It's all yours Jimmy, Chris is happy for you to make use of it mate. Phil

Brilliant sport, I need another rat perm. Phil

Was it Airtech or you that tuned it Mitch. Phil
-
Ok Jimmy, I will have a word with Chris to make sure he doesn't want it and if not, I will bring it over to Si when you come down next mate. Phil

Yes I know Jon but it is not my thing or my pal's so we have a gun but no barrel (although I know it is available) and no idea if this is set to compressed air or Co2 so stabbing in the dark. I think my pal would be happy to give it away but that is his decision. The WTC is 1.5 - 5x mag, perfect for my use although it may go at some stage. Phil

Having been directed to a chinese gun forum, it is thought the the gun was converted from Co2 mini bottles to bulk fill by a chap called 'porkyyorky' but sadly he passed away last year so I think this gun is going back to the tip. The WTC is on my P35 and I really like it, lovely glass. Phil

Thats a lot of dosh for a pistol. I wanted to establish if the fpe was still at 6 or had this model been increased. Well it's no good to me and that is for sure, I can as already been said buy a new 110 or 100 for that and a lovely s/h wildcat in my rfd for a fair bit less. I was just curious to be fair as I could not afford another gun at present no matter how much I am wanting one. Phil

So is it a standard pistol with a stock fitted or is it available as a finished pistol / rifle as shown in your photos Pete as I cannot find anything on either Hull Cartridge site or Weihrauch site. Phil

Whohhh, now I like the looks of that, never seen one before. I think that would be a perfect garden gun for me, I will be very interested to see how you go one with that. I have been looking for more information but so far not seen this variation or is it the pistol with stock extension. It is 6fpe or sub 12. Who did you get it from. Phil

Just taken the the one piece mount off the scope and sure enough this WTC is made in the Philippines and it is going on my P35 tomorrow.
-
Cheers Jon, I will pass that on to him. Phil

Thank you guys, good to see you on here Jon, it's been a while mate. The WTC hopefully will stay with me but the rifle will go back to my pal although I doubt he will do anything with it as he has just moved house a matter of days ago so it may well go to someone as a project or back in the tip, mind you I suspect he will want a few quid for it which is unlikely in my opinion. Phil

The stock looks superb. Phil

Ohhhhhh how sad, mind you it's no good Billy, I ain't got any spare cash anyway. Story of my retired life ?? Phil

That is a thing of beauty and could not get rid of one for any price. That would make a lovely bell target rifle for sure. Phil

Ratworks is in Leicester area so just send it off and they will do a good job but phone Phil Crampton first so he can give you an estimated time for the work. Phil

I am just over the river from you Mark and can tell you that there are plenty of opportunities but yo need to find them. Try to take a different approach not going for the same old thing, pigeon and rabbit shooting, try crow and rat problems which a farmer may have or feral pigeon crapping on farm vehicles, try industrial units where feral pigeon might be a pest........................ in other words look outside the box because everyone will be going for the same thing. One other thing, ask everybody you know and I mean everyone because it is surprising how many people know or have a r

My shooting partner runs our village tip and from time to time he gets some very useful stuff. Yesterday was such a day with a chap taking in a large rolled up tank netting parcel which will go onto our new perm for two permanent hides and another chap took in 6, 3 x 3'' powder coated aluminium tubes 48'' long with aluminium end caps so a new set of squirrel feeders will be produced from those. Today I got a call from Chris to say he had some more stuff. Well this one is different, he gets quite a few old springers in which he does a bit of reno on but this one is a bit odd to say the l
