  1. I just popped the NV on the gun before I changed the scope for the photo but here is the unit as it is on my current set up.
  2. Just charging the battery in the torch to be on the safe side although there seems to be plenty of life in it. This is the one I have This is at 15mt The scope is an MTC Genesis AO, IR although the scope in the photo is a Hawke Varmint. The torch is mounted on a picatiny rail so it should be okay. Phil
  3. Time to pick your collective brains chaps. I have had an add-on NV for a little while but only used it at a friends ratting perm and then it was no more than 15mt distance. Tonight, I sat in wait for some bunnies until the light went, on with the IR torch (T20) and on with the camera unit........................clear image at about 15mt but at 20mt onwards almost no image at all. Now I am assuming it is down to lack of output from the torch but I would have thought these torches would have eaten that distance. I did see a rabbits eye shine but in all honesty, I really don't know what dista

  15. A nice offer there Jon and perfect for you David to avoid going room crazy, hope you enjoy eachother's company. I used to be away for a couple of nights almost every week at one time but I made sure that I had either fresh or saltwater near to the hotel and very rarely spent any evenings in the hotel room. Let's face it, you have to make the best of a situation. Phil
  16. What is the difference between the D700 and 800 Mitch. Phil
  17. Just sit the forend on the 'V' of the sticks and hold the trigger grip with your left hand, if right handed. I don't touch the gun with my left hand at all. Mark is much better than me so I dare say he will be along to offer better guidence. Phil
  18. Just been reading the 'Best Fitting' catalogue and saw they do an adaptor for the gun which allows you to fit an FX standard air cylinder to reduce weight and increase shot count also one to take a Steyr LG air reservoir fot the same reasons. I know A&M produce a replacement air cylinder at £150 approx, just wondered if anyone has got one of the above converions and if so, what is the cost and shot count like. Phil
  19. I am really pleased to hear things are working well Mark. Must confess that whilst I have still got a way to go in terms of consistancy with the TX, I just love shooting it. Phil
