  1. Depending what make it is, some have a lifetime warranty so it is worth contacting the RFD to establish what is the score with the scope to have. Phil
  2. Welcome aboard matey I use 'photobucket' to upload all my piccies, very easy and free unless like me you have rather a lot of photo's but even then, it isn't much. Phil
  3. I don't know if it is my speakers but the sound is very muffled. Good to see another Sheffielder on here, I left the home town twenty years ago however to the east coast (there weren't many cod to be caught in Sheffield ). I still go back to shoot with some friends every now and then. Welcome to the forum Phil
  4. I tried some a pal sent me and they were really good with a lot of followers on other forums. Phil
  5. Anyone we know won it.............................I am sad to say it wasn't me unless I have not been told yet Phil
  6. I will be ducking behind him David and that is for sure. Just been talking to the makers of my NV and despite the fact that I have another on the way, I want to sort this one out. We think it may well be the IR illuminator that is at fault so they are sending me one of theirs to try. To be honest, I am interested in converting it into a spotter scope if I can sort the IR, if in fact that is the fault, so in the next couple of days I will find out. Some busy night work coming up methinks. Phil
  7. Yes we will have to arrange something Jimmy, might even take you out with the shotgun..................... Phil
  8. That is only 15mins away so if you are over here, a coffee or beer will be ready for you. Phil
  9. Yes, E700 Two different torches but I agree it think the torch is to blame some how. I am recharging all the batteries I have and run tests again tonight using different torches and gun/scope combinations. To be honest, I may convert this unit into a spotting scope because it has been superbly made and it will not go to waste. I have tried with and without the sunshade. I am over on the East Coast near the Humber Bridge Treecreeper. We will see what results I get tonight Phil
  10. Good on yer David, looks like an tough old land rover to go out in, perfect. Phil
  11. In the garden, just cut the grass, my dear wife has just brought me a Gin & tonic and I am typing this on my tablet under the brolly so I can see the screen........nice. Phil
  12. I hate gutting rabbits summer, winter or any time. I watched a pal do one, what an eye opener, he squeezes the rabbit with one hand then puts the other hand next to that moving down the body, when his hand is a couple of inches from it's arse, he put the rabbit agaist his leg and whacked the last couple of inches of the rabbit and the whole lot shot out from the back, clean fast and no smell plus corvid bait. I hope that all makes sense, brilliant to see. Phil
  13. Oh my god !!!! That looks superb, who made the stock. Phil
  14. NV update I want to throw this fecking thing in the River Humber................F&*%$£^?@ After a great result when the NV was returned back to me, I tried it last night, I am back to a max of 15mts range. I cannot get my head around this issue. Going to contact one of the guys on airgun forum who has a great understanding of add on NV and is in West Yorks so not too far. I am getting more p1ssed off by the minute. Phil
  15. I wish I had Jimmy but as I have not heard anything, I assume it was not me. I saw the perfect rifle for a project yesterday, it is a side lever Air Arms springer, stock has no finish left on it and the barrels are rusty but it cocked and fired so doable I would have thought........................only problem is that my friend doesn't want to part with it......................bugger. Phil
  16. That is a great result and thanks must go to Si and Jimmy. Phil
  17. What is on top of the Photon and can you just swap the scope to the NV and maintain zero. Phil
  18. Been to a bbq today and one of the guys brought along his Daystate Air Wolf which he bought second hand from a dealer in Hull. He has had it for a few months, a minter for sure and although we didn't get chance to shoot it, it was nothing short of stunning, fantastic balance, just felt right and I think perhaps he has got a good un, I can really understand how you can fall in love with them, no idea how accurate it is but would have liked a session on the range with it just to see for myself. Lovely gun from a sh1te company. Phil
  19. Hmmmmmmm, trying an N200 out tonight belonging to a pal just to see if it is any better than my add on. Phil
  20. Hmmm, thinking Jimmy, I'm thinking....................trying one out tonight, an earlier one than that but we will see and turn my NV into a spotting scope. Phil
  21. Such a shame, the last thing you want to happen. Phil
  22. I said they were poor in mine Mark, NOT all HW100's and I am buggered why they don't work in mine, I bet mine is the only HW100 that they don't actually perform in. The express do just not paying that price. Phil
