  1. Is this the one known as 'Shorty' because I know of two guys who imported them before SMK added them to their portfolio' if so their feed back of this gun was very good indeed. Phil
  2. A nice offer there Jon and perfect for you David to avoid going room crazy, hope you enjoy eachother's company. I used to be away for a couple of nights almost every week at one time but I made sure that I had either fresh or saltwater near to the hotel and very rarely spent any evenings in the hotel room. Let's face it, you have to make the best of a situation. Phil
  3. What is the difference between the D700 and 800 Mitch. Phil
  4. Just sit the forend on the 'V' of the sticks and hold the trigger grip with your left hand, if right handed. I don't touch the gun with my left hand at all. Mark is much better than me so I dare say he will be along to offer better guidence. Phil
  5. Just been reading the 'Best Fitting' catalogue and saw they do an adaptor for the gun which allows you to fit an FX standard air cylinder to reduce weight and increase shot count also one to take a Steyr LG air reservoir fot the same reasons. I know A&M produce a replacement air cylinder at £150 approx, just wondered if anyone has got one of the above converions and if so, what is the cost and shot count like. Phil
  6. I am really pleased to hear things are working well Mark. Must confess that whilst I have still got a way to go in terms of consistancy with the TX, I just love shooting it. Phil
  7. So why have you got 2 air rifles? shot guns? and even a air rifle for you wife? come on Phil answer that :whistling: :tongue2: atvbjimmy  ps forgot the fac,,,air on its way Like you Jimmy, I am just becomming an addict...........correction, already one. Got to stop though, taken one of my shotguns into the RFD to sell because those Wildcats feel so nice, no no must stop. Phil
  8. If you like the HW100 (and many on here do) why not stick to a gun which already ticks the boxes for you, very hard to beat. Do you simply fancy something different. Phil
  9. If the result is all you want it to be Mark, then it is worth it mate. Phil
  10. Best Fittings do a range of gauges from £17.50 according to latest catalogue. Phil
  11. I am in the process of applying for an FAC ticket both for the Rapid 28lb gun but also should the law change regarding airguns. Phil
  12. One of the guys on Airgun forum has bought the first Impact in the UK and is getting a .177 barrel to go with the .22 gun. It looks to be a very advanced piece of kit, he had the first Wildcat as well and rates that very highly as well. Phil
  13. To be honest Doncaster is hit by Sheffield/Rotherham shooters both airgun but more so shotgun lads so you may have quite a lot of competition there. If I still lived in South Yorks, I would agree with a earlier suggestion and look outside the box, as an example around Wheatley rd industrial areas near the river/canal as I have fished for pike there so rats are deffo on the cards, I know that I have seen plenty of them and companies could be interested in getting rid of them. Worth a thought.... Phil
  14. Very true but sooooooo comfortable Jimmy AND I can get 5p groups with the TX and that is impressive for me mate, fecking springers........... Roll on my FAC Rapid. Phil
  15. Good to hear you all had a great weekend and all for a great charity, well done to you both. Phil
  16. No just Mark and VM   Plus one, I feel I should say sorry. I am unsure whether to tell you that this week I have borrowed a shooting chair from A friend who is working away at the moment, bloody hell it is brilliant...........I know Mac, I know but it is really good, it is perfect for reading magazines while I wait with a gin n tonic just perfect but only using it in the garden....honest. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Shooting-Chair-Rifle-Sniper-Seat-Rifle-Rest-CAMO-BEST-PRICE-ON-EBAY-/271602603114?hash=item3f3cc6d46a:g:kVAAAOSwbqpTwYJg Phil
  17. Come on then Mitch, get them posted matey. Phil
  18. It has to be said however that Simon (pianoman) is a remarkable shot and even though he is left handed, he shot my TX 200HC right handed gun at 35mt and still put 4 pellets one on top of the other.................................impressed the hell out of me I can tell you, a different story when I shot though Phil
  19. NO NO NO don't buy raffle tickets, I want to win this Just joking boys, buy the tickets as it is for a good cause, I won't win, If I fell into a barrel full of tits, I would come out sucking my thumb so little chance of winning this cracking gun. Phil
  20. Yet another load of crap from Dayslap. You really have to wonder what is the percentage of decent rifles Vs useless crap. They should be taken to court for their attitude when they supply product not fit for purpose and at crazy prices offering NO customer support. It would not be tooooo bad if the guns were cheap stuff but when they charge top dollar, it's a joke. I'm glad you have a plan in place Simon with the right bloke. Phil
  21. Having seen first hand what an incredible shot pianoman, Simon, is and what he is able to do wth my TX let alone his own HW springers, made me quickly change my opinion of what a springer can acheive. The SPRINGER IN THE RIGHT HANDS IS EVERY BIT AS ACCURATE AS A PCP. The reality however is that IMO few people are CONSISTANTLY as good with a springer as they are with a PCP. PHIL
