  1. You could always buy a set of adjustable mounts, then just crank em up for new zero. Seen it on youtube.......................looks very fiddly to me but who knows. Phil
  2. Cheers Si, I will have a play with that Phil
  3. Well done Si and good to see the new lady is working for you mate, you could have frozen a rabbit to use as corvid bait, works a treat. Right now the bit I am interested in, that gizmo on the phone, is it Chairgun app or something, I am crap with these bloody phones other than talking but this looks interesting. Phil
  4. Your photo's get more and more impressive Billy, not that I am jealous in any way you understand.......................... Phil
  5. I would save the time and paper Simon, do you really think TB doesn't already know !!!!!! Ostrich and sand spring to mind if you follow my drift. Phil
  6. http://www.urbanfieldsportsman.com/index.php/shin-sung-career-707-22-carbine-pcp/ It does remind me of another gun but I am buggered if I can remember which. Phil
  7. The link opens fine for me. Interesting topic because I find my TX too light but not happy about adjusting it, out of my comfort zone.... Phil
  8. Carl, even though I have not used your services, your reputation here and on other sites is second to none and it will be only a matter of time before I do make the call to you. I know some people are not very good at keeping in touch which in turn p1sses people off who are waiting because they are looking forward to getting their guns back after the upgrades but it is good to see you admit that aspect of your work is not your best forte but I have never heard anyone say even the slightest bad thing about the workmanship. I was sorry to hear of the death in your wife's family a little whil
  9. £4 difference between the tins, are the 5.51 an old tin. The 5.52 seem to do the trick mate, melt the others down for fishing leads. Phil
  10. Sounds good Si, if we ever meet up, I will deffo ask for a few shots through her and the Wolf of course but mainly the Ultimate Sporter. Phil
  11. The big question Jimmy, is the new raider as good as the one which you loved so much. If it is, then you know what you would be buying and know that it compared with your HW100 so the decision is not so big, both will work for you, it is just a case of which do you prefer. I think I would be a little nervous getting rid of the HW in case the Raider is not quite as you remembered it. The ideal situation is to get the Raider and try it out, if okay, sell the HW. Phil
  12. That is well worth the money. When I finally get my FAC through and get my hands on the Rapid Mk2, the stock is VERY bland so I want to do something, we will wait and see. Phil
  13. Well pleased for you Simon, now you have the gun you THOUGHT you had bought in the first place....................BUT BETTER. Phil
  14. Quote ' From that quick muck about tonight, - F.A.C. is not required at all. ' Here we go again Phil
  15. I can only agree Mark. A friend of mine used to drive trucks in Australia where mixy was first introduced, he said the drivers used to simply stop the trucks and fire a pistol into a grey field, the grey field was tens of thousands of rabbits, you could not miss and quite often you would pick several up with one shot and BBQ them at the side of the road for lunch. He said until you have seen the sheer volume of rabbits that were there, you can't understand why the government would release the disease. One thing is for sure mate, they should have left it over there because the UK has never ha
  16. I am pleased to hear that because I don't feel I am alone now. Phil
  17. We have a guy down here Jimmy who will dip the gun for about £100 and that is a full semi auto shotgun, I almost don't want to say this but I made the enquiry because my youngest daughter wants a PINK CAMO semi auto shotgun...........................I'll get me coat. Nice vid PP Phil
  18. Up to your usual standard again Mitch. Phil
  19. I had one but not for long. 1, heavy up front 2, power levels all over the place but generally downwards (11.7-9.?) 3, sticking mag 4, Armex (importer) did not seem interested neither did the RFD so he got NO further business. I spoke to Airtech before I sold it as he had 4 in for similar problems, Carl's words not mine ' the reg will never work for long', he was producing his own reg for this gun as the issue was a common one and growing. If I had kept it, I would have fitted a BSA R10 bottle which was less than half the weight, reduced the barrel length and had the gun regged with an
  20. MEAN MACHINE..................... Phil
  21. Totally agree, both bloody lovely. If you don't mind me asking, what sort of price for one like that. Phil
  22. They are really a nice looking gun Si, I had promised myself one but had quite a surprise when I picked one up in the shop, it just felt wrong, I couldn't get comfortable with it, quite a disappointment really. It is one of those guns that when you hand it back, you wished you had asked to try it, a bit like the Wildcat which was a revelation when I actually got the chance to shoot one so perhaps one day I will get to shoot one and go way back up the list again. She is a pretty lady Si and hope you enjoy it mate. Phil
  23. Pity, I was down that neck of the woods last week, I could have picked it up for you Rez OR kept it myself.............................Oh well. Phil
