Cheers Mark, we have three more of these out in different spots and they are squirrel proof so no eaten away feeders or regular replacements.
-
Alright Mitch you doubting old bugger, I will take some pics just for you. I tell you what has worked well for us is our squirrel feeders made from old road sign posts with a tray at the bottom and a pellet tin for a top lid. We have made them to 6' long but 4.5' is more managable as we leave old ladders or steps tied to the trees to fill them which will give upto a weeks supply of feed depending how many sqizzers are feeding. We also have badgers and deer come to help themselves which is why they are mounted as high as they are in the photos. I only wish there were the same numbers of squi

For the past few years my shooting partner who runs the village tip has been able to extract from the skip a number of old trellises usually complete with green staining but why the hell do we want those, well these make brilliant hide frames. One perm we have is a double quarry, one full of trees and the other side is a few trees with large grass areas and this perm is ideal for permanent hides, in fact we have five hides that are used for different quarry and a fresh batch of trellis panels came in today along with a bloody big piece of tank cammo netting plus some normal camo I was given ju

Already doing that Mitch, I will be ordering those meals for the elderly soon.
-
Yes, just had some AA Heavy sent, very quickly in a solid box, always the same.

Ah, not what he used to be then as I had a few orders from him. Try Ramsbottoms then in that case, always super boxed up to arrive in perfect condition. Phil

It's a Huawei P30 Lite Mitch. I thought I would be able to use the charge cable from phone to Chrome book and transfer that way but it didn't work. Oh feck it, it will leave it as I am getting bored, time to feed the cats. Now you can see why I can't work out how to up the power on my Wildcat fac Mitch. I used to be very good with fax machines, pen and paper. I will get a tossers guide from my daughter what to do because it's over my fecking head............................................................? Phil

You make it sound so simple but thank you. I bloody hate this clever stuff, old twat that I am..............

I view via a 'Chromebook' laptop. I did have photobucket on my phone but it was closed by them and I have not been able to get it back. It is wifi and I have tried to 'transfer' but it is not happening so far. I think it is time to get my daughter and son in law on the case as they know alll this stuff. Yes I pay but if you keep the volume of photos down, it is free but I pay £25 per year which is not great but it works well for me, most of the time. Phil

Normally I would take any photos to post on here with my main camera but the other day I did a few photos using my phone so here is my question because I am crap with tech stuff. I want to transfer the photos onto Photobucket which is my normal route to the forum but no idea how to transfer or how to post direct to forum. I don't use the phone for forum stuff at all, so would I need to set up THL onto my phone however I have no frigging idea how to do that either. Now don't laugh at me boys as you shouldn't mock the afflicted or aging old gentlemen.............. ? Phil

Never that one before but who knows.

If we are all confessing, I will say my Rapid Mk2 was as accurate as any of the FX guns I have owned and I do wish I still had it but having said that my Impact Mk1 .25 was bloody brilliant but some spare parts are getting very difficult to get ( I suppose that could be the wankers who now import them ) and that was the only reason I sold it but the Wildcat .22 I have is a lovely and light and that is the downside to the Rapid, it was a heavy lump compared to the FX guns. The FX would be my first choice on every session but it would be nice just to still own my old Rapid. Phil

The AA Heavy seemed to be a bit tricky to get last year and switched to the JSB variant which is as close as you can get to the AA version. I will say, and stand to be corrected, the AA Heavy just seems to have the edge over JSB in terms of killing power, might just be in my head but nevertheless given the option, I would use AA Heavy. You back on pellets instead of the 21gr zan mitch. Nice shooting, I have just fitted a new feeder yesterday and went to check if they had found it yet, they had so topped up the feeder ready for a session Moday. Phil

Over and under every day of the week, they are heavier than a side by side but absorb recoil far far better. I have shot tens of thousands of cartridges through my Beretta / Perazzi and Caesar Guerini guns which have done the job both on the clay grounds and out in the fields on live quarry. The most important thing, as already stated, is to get sound advice from a 'GOOD' gun dealer and ideally one that is linked to a clay ground so you can try a few guns under a watchful eye to ensure gun fit is as good as possible otherwise it simply will not be right for you. If you let us know where
