Bull greyhound saluki greyhound pup
Rogue2015 replied to Rogue2015's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
Pup has been rehomed very happy with where he has gone too just hope the pup makes it worth the effort he’s going to put in -
I have just had a pup back off a mate who has had to pack the dogs in the pup is 16 weeks old bred out of my own 2 dogs which have seen a lot of work and are very reliable, pup is free to a good home pm me if genuinely interested, really poor photo but he dont sit still, thanks

I know a couple of boys who have had jagd terriers imported 3 of them i know of are being dug regular although they have been very shallow easy places, but they are very noisy both in the field and in the kennel and they only seem to want to do one thing while underground and that can only last for so long?
-
Only thing i have found when seeing pure greyhounds work is how easily their skin seems to rip or tear , my brother had a blue greyhound bitch from Ireland about 27tts she was very game the first deer she ran she took over it in the field thinking it was a game, few nights out rabbiting and she clicked and had massive amounts of drive poor bitch killed herself running into a tree in her second season but she would have been well worth breeding constantly catching anything before a single turn

Ground was good for me last night the dogs enjoyed themselves too

They are a long gun i agree with you there mate and quite heavy when walking around with the bv add on but like u said i like the accuracy of it mine is pushing 11.7 with air arms diabolo i havent tried any other pellet but il stick with these
-
Thanks mate i havent got much experience with air rifles but I really like it to be honest
-
Thats it and i got a nitesite viper add on
-
Thats true mate was just wondering if anyone else uses one as they are very well priced for what seems to be a good air rifle i will get a pic up now
-
Just wanted to hear other opinions
-
Are these any good? Iv not had many air rifles but bought one of these a few weeks back and really like it i dropped my first two rabbits with it Friday night using a nite site viper i bought midweek at about 30 yards and have had a load of crows with it too so far it seems very accurate and powerful too
-
Good luck mate hoping for the best for you
-
I would stick to halgen aswell mate, but honestly between me and my close mates who do a fair amount of lamping a season we have all had trouble with the enforcers the old ligtforce were so much more reliable
-
Personally i would stay away from the newer enforcer lamps the lead connection doesn’t last a hrd months lamping even though a couple of seasons

Whats your approach to Poachers
Rogue2015 replied to Habtron's topic in Gamekeeping, Conservation & Shoot Management
I think everyone has gone lamping or ferreting on land without permission at some point and although poaching is illegal the majority of boys are only after a few rabbits and dont damage or steal anything off the land and they leave without a trace the gates get tied back shut behind them and thats how it should be but what gets me is when people drive through fences and gates and steal from the farms and that is why every poacher gets a bad name and we are not all the same -
Very smart bitch hope she gets a good home and makes them proud
