I know but if I was to plant Apple trees they take a Few year to be big enough so the Pigs didn't up Root them. Can you plant sugar beet or turnips in the winter like this time of year

Well my 4 pigs have gone to the Abbatoir earlier today looking forward to getting them back. What I'm thinking is I wanna get some more in the summer. The land that I kept them on is a piece of old woodland now my question is they have turned the land over like a tractor ( before it was bracken, brambles and weeds 6ft high) my question is is there a type of veg that I could plant on it and leave it so when I put my next weaners in they have plenty of fooder in the ground. Hi does anyone know we're I can get broiler hens from Yorkshire area or table birds I don't wanna pay £8 a pullet it just blows it out of the water. There used to be a guy on here but I carnt get in touch with him now

When you say £8 or £9 for a bag of wheat do you mean actual wheat or is that slang for pig food I pays £7.50 p ish for some pig feed called turbo grow high protein stuff.

Well the egg laying is ant going so well I'm getting one egg a day either they were younger than the seller said or there something really wrong give them a few more weeks then see what I feel like. Surely they should be laying like crazy .

Hi I've wouldn't mind rearing a couple of Lambs for the table not bottle feeding or any of that. Just buy them put them to grass on our paddock the have them butcherd. What's the best time to Buy them? And what are the classed as like store lambs or what?

Iv got round post sunk in all way around with electric fence 3 strands high first strand about 6 inch off the ground and highest strand is just above knee height. It held them up to now. But your right the pig have rooted it all up and in places the bottom strand is nearly touching the new ground level were they moved the earth around
