  1. Yes he is a Hancock. 3/4 greyhound 1/4 collie.Hes a robust type, and not even muscled or filled out yet. Still like a pup, iv not bothered getting him fit.
  2. My dog. Hopefully be handy next season.
  3. Defo some in Margam. Bigger than red, I got some pics on phone of red and St pier in same field. I don't think any have escaped from Margam...plenty fallow have...unsure of red tho.
  4. One thing to think about is the colour of the light dai. Alot lads prefer halogen which is aboyt 3000k I think...where the led white light and the HID are 4200k so it's white...the higher "k" you go the bluer /whiter it gets.
  5. i had very interesting chat today on my dog walk, got my 2 dogs and met this bloke and little lad with 2 collie xs , not lurchers just farm type working dogs , he liked my dogs, i told him they were of similar temp at home quite and sensitive , but the big dog Buck 1x gsd x grey , had very different mind set when hunting he was more full on than Bryn the 1 x collie x grey . he said that didn't surprise him , he said collies will do most things for there owners, there are very clever and appear to do as there told, but in truth there calling the shots, they only do what they want .
  6. My pup got a slice on his pad, I put paper towel squared up and just taped it up, cleaned once a day with savlon spray... Done it in a way that he won't put weight on it...Hopefully it will work lol
  7. Few boys up north I know keep collie xs, or terrier xs usually beddy or one lad Irish terrier x whippet. Few of their collie xs got a dash of beddy mixed in therr as well, they out about 4 times a week catching 30-40 a time on average And lamping the same as well.
  8. They really ain't that hard to come accross? I beg to differ mate. And I'm sure plenty on here who keep just bull xs just for the job in hand would agree also. Either that or abit delusional and as the saying goes " see w different course wo everyone else" And DC, when people go on about collie lurchers not being 100% because of certain quarry then it's abit obvious... No one have ever said they were bred for it. Just a pointless argument from people who try to get one up on the cross. I don't come on here from week to week now. And I can see why. Same dribble being put on lol
  9. No one forces people to buy them...and no one recommends them lol if u want one buy one and shouldn't be anyone else's business. No one ever said they are world beaters, no one ever said they are pig killing dogs single handed whatever u wana say... Can i have an invited out with one of these 100% pig killing dog...cos iv yet to see a dog kill everyone it's met.
  10. Well you don't know a great deal then. Plenty dogs come out of hancocks kennels looking just like that. I'm telling you it's a Hancock because I know the bitch. Also know loads of other boys knocking all sorts over with them. But il only be called a liar again. I'm sure he could post a pic of its ear tattoo for you to show origin of said dog... Lol
  11. Deffantly not directly from hancocks kennels, the ears ring bedlington to meits a bitch directly out of delboy. Beardy border
  12. Like your plummers then...how many u got now? ?
  13. Shame you take the comment I made the wrong way. Was actually defending why you chose the breeding. Not been on for a while pups looking cracking, atb with em.
  14. In that link he states, racey type, saluki bull grey or whippet grey... Sire to these pups is a heavy dog and says himself it's not fast, that's why he's put it to a greyhound. Duno why people think they have the upper hand on people on here, just shows your thick or jealous or both. Don't know the lad who bred em, don't know ginger beard, and got no interest in buying a pup either.
  15. I was lamping a good few hours with 120 the other night and it never run out. Was quite shocked how long it lasted. Was out about 4 hours. Didnt see a lot like, lol. The red filter on spotted a roe 100 yards or more aswell, can't fault it. Dropped it few times aswell. Pretty solid
  16. In for an easy time with this thing compared to them hairy, deaf eared cartridge wanting scruff bags ?
  17. Won't get much more commitment than whippet or greyhound...or sighthound in general I don't think.
