Nighthunters Whippets And Mallyfield Whippets
Somewhereyournot replied to rabbitman1234567's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
Nothing to do with people disagreeing with me. There will always be and always has been 23" whippets even from dogs that are 20" themselves. Call me a clown whatever u like but the simple fact remains pure whippets have produced 23" dogs, just because their 23" don't mean there not a whippet. Same as greyhounds go as low as 23", just because their usually 26+ don't mean they ain't greyhounds. I really could go on all day about various other breeds lol -

Dont agree with you there mate. PLenty of bull x's were 24/25 and 60~65lb and had pace to catch stuff single handed.bull x's can knock all sorts over including deer under the lamp but a daytime roe or hare thats up and running 60--100 yds away will live to see another dayhow many of you kids even worked/owned a dog before the ban? And im not talking your second cousins twice removed nannas neighbour lol.those who state this/that can't be done have obviously not seen alot and done f**k all imo.the smell of bullshit is over powering go give your tusks a scrub cause they f***ing stinkThe third W -

First Cross Collie Greyhound ???

I think some will, some won't I know of a few that won't ,I know of a 3 legged dog that would easily so no hard and fast rule really.ye, I'm not asking mate. I know full well collie greyhounds are taking fallow lol jut find it incredible what the lad is saying. That's all. I know of loads of bull xs who bark at what there bred for But it doesn't mean there all like that. Anyway. Not replying to these topics no more as there's not much point unless you are up for a argument. Atb for rest of season boys. -
When u work it out for your dog u feed far less per meal than gain 28. U pick up less shit, the coat is shiny and not a dull look an it shouldn't bloat them as it doesn't soak and swell like gain 28. When I worked it out, I spend about the same on raw, maybe raw abit cheaper as I do get chicken for free. But it's the benefit of not having flies in summer, defrosting it when u working full weeks and can't be f****d lol etc etc. I find it outways the cons, cons being price... And Northern lite, they do a single protein one that's the duck, as some dogs do better on that, less protein too.

Brave enough to pull a fallow deer. So are you insinuating collie x greys can't pull a fallow deer? Incredible -

Don't think anyone on here ever said a collie x is as game as a bull x. You came on about three posts saying collie xs can't do this or that.. When they can. If I was only after stuff you can't eat, then I'd get a bull x. But I doesn't mean there isn't collie xs ain't capable as alot are. If I wanted a dog for all edible I wouldn't get a bull x lol -
How is it shit value for working dog grub? Working dogs demand better quality than pets. Just my opinion. My pup being fed 2-3 times a day, only just done the first bag amd he loves it. Looks better on it than just raw. Glad I did it.

Beardie x abit more temperamental in my experience, and more headstrong. Maybe it's the one I had. But I know alot of other lads that share exactly same experience as me

First Cross Collie Greyhound ???

My hairy dog kicks right off if a dog shows aggression when approaching us. Even worse if I have my kids, quite a handful. He's wary of odd balls and keeps eye on them as well. -

I'm not on about foxes. And I have seen more than capable dogs on em, just most the time what is the best dog in the pub ain't the same dog in the field. -
How do u swap it from red to white? Was going to buy lightforce but don't think I will now Let me kniw
-
been saying this for ages, it's a rabbit end of the day lol. None of my dogs ever proper crashed them, hit some stuff now n again it's inevitable, but my hairy dog would push rabbits back off the hedge rows and if rabbit got in hedge he would follow up the hedge and now n again pop head in etc.

probably even less than 1 in 50. And that's not on about green ones. Ones that have seen it all before are the ones that the big dogs need to be put on. Il bet more than 95% are giving there dos a hand. Been out with them, my dogs this n that but always carry a blade. Right o lol -

Thank f**k people have crawled out the wood work from genuine experience. Said it time n time again on here, iv seen a pure whippet stalk, and their like one of the keenest dogs u can get on a slip for rabbiting. Was another guy on here with a whippet grey saluki grey lurcher, he said his quit on rabbits at 3. There's big massive bull xs capable of killing horses that iv seen spew a fox...lol funny old site but not as funny as these experts. Good luck Richie. If it fails, let me know I know a few collie x men that hunt fox regular if that's your thing. Atb -

Phil why do u favour cur xs if u hunt woodland and rough ground?...... I bet your hardly ever out woth the dogs laid up all winter. ? -
If u can catch 100 rabbits with one lamp, that's enough battery life for 95% of people who lamp unless your scared of the dark, been out with a few that would run a lamp out connected to the mains....
