Got my first guided trip onto the marsh next month. I've been reading loads, the above confirms all I've read. No substitute for experience for me though. My greyhound (if he had any sense of recall) wouldn't be too welcome, so if the bug bites I'll be looking for a club where you get taught the marsh by someone with a dog!

Hi all, I'm new to this but want to start loading shotgun cartridges mainly for fun but also to save cash wildfowling. A few questions someone might be able to help me with: I've been looking at Lee Load-alls on Ebay and down in Folkestone, any other suppliers in East Anglia? I can only find Lowdens online to supply a bismuth-tin mix, again anyone got any cheap sources? Just like everyone else I'd like something like our yank cousins and use old wheel weights....... Has anyone built/made a Littleton style shotmaker successfully, if so any tips? Cheers :-)

I'm a complete newcomer to hunting. I've been shooting clays for a while and love it. I want to hunt for the table and am starting with some guided wildfowling. Any suggestions and tips gratefully received. In time I'd like to start loading my own cartridges partcularly if the wildfowling goes well.
