my old lurcher is about 9 now and is starting to stiffen up abit mostly mornings when been in her bed all night ive tried a cod liver oil tablet once a day its helped but wondered if anyone uses any different supplements to help with joints etc cheers stu

hi there is might not help but there is a drug called ivomec from the vets we use this on our racing pigeons it kills all parasites etc it is very effective for mange when nothing else seems to work maybe worth looking into hope it helps cheers

i have 5jills 1 hob running together none are neuterd they all get on really well i just seperate the hob about a month before jills come into season then put him back when there out my hob is really well natured but other ones maybe different. 2 whole hobs will fight

i just used perspex the same on conservatorys normally 1in thick sometimes you will find them chucking large off cuts away its tinted so doesnt let in direct sunlight

the only thing i can sugest is putting them together for a couple hours a time i have 1hob and 5jills running together they all get on well but after the jills come out of season hob goes back in he fights them i just keep taking him out after a week or so hes ok with them

is the new ferret attacking the others or vise versa

in the summer months i normally feed dried food but give them liver every to or three weeks they also get tripe every so often. with the dry food make sure theres plenty of fresh water coz they drink like hell normally when weather turns colder they are put on raw meat rabbits pigeons etc.

just got back got 6 rabbits some heavy sleet coming down they sat well just had a bout of mixi but still a few about

no snow in north yorks there was plenty this morning gone now off lamping nice wind and drizzle see what we can pick up

ive been saving the potatoe peelings boiling them up and mixing them in with the food! i use red mills mysel and my dogs look well on it!
