I have a 3 month old 8 shot falcon prairie CM. Full set up still under manufacturers warranty. Scope is a nikko stirling nighteater 4-16x50 with ballistic turret adjustment and its a 30mm tube, leather sling, harris bipod, and air arms que-tec silencer all in mint condition £300 gun only- 350 with the filling kit.
Best caller you could buy is the primos 302.... it will do everything but you just need to learn how to... i use it and the acme to great effect on both crows and jackdaws
Im thinking of putting my bsa 177 super10 up for sale. Its been custom tuned by Rancid Tom Nelson at the airgun clinic. Has a variation of less than 7fps over 20 shots. Custom bolt and its clean. What sort of money can i ask for? The bowket tuned ones are fetching £600+ any info greatly appreciated.
The art of calling is not easy to learn but with practice you can get it right. A jackdaw sat on top of a tree knew something was a miss but a few calls gae hime the confidence to fly to the pattern in range of the gun.
Pistolpete im a decoyer myself if you would like me to send you a video of the calls i can make id be glad to help. Iv been decoying corvids for 10 years and have some great success the key to calling jackdaws is the biting of the end of the call by biting down and blowing short and sharp you can getvthe hogh pitch chatters perfect. Iv taught a fair few people how to call properly. Best callers for jackdaws are either a primos or a acme
Lanber, Lincoln, bettinsoli, rizzini any of those will give you a good gun for around £500 good and reliable, go for multichoke and possibly 30" barrels these are popular guises and are easier to sell on when your ready to buy another gun
Well after moving from cumbria to lancashire 7months ago, iv been waiting for my new Shotgun license with change of address on. 7months and still no licence. Iv rang countless times only to be told a different story time and time again. 3 weeks ago i was told it had been handed to the feo and still NOTHING... i already have the grant of a shotgun license what i require is a new one printed out... its so frustrating!!!
Can anybody offer me any advice it would be much appreciated..Thankyou in advance ?
I shoot around 10,0000+ cartridges a year mainly decoying, is it worth me looking into reloading. I enjoy tinkering too so reloading in that sense id enjoy.
