    In the 90s I had a saluki lurcher bitch I slipped her on a hare that was making for a row of conifers . I watched her go to the hare but it looked like she was running half hearted I can mind thinking she's gonna pull up . Anyway she carried on going just sort of loping but she was watching the hare . The hare ran along the conifers and back out the same field buton the other side . Once the bitch see the hare making out into open ground she put her foot down and had a good run and catching . To this day I think if the hare had gone through the conifers she would've come back or jacked. The h

    I met Brogs mate last week. Had a bit of craic about the terriers etc. He seemed a nice lad. Shame they got out of the terriers. yeah is a shame him and twobobdog good lads .

    Brog that used to be on here had some permo on the white that was the worse I've ever seen , real test of dog and man . I bought a dog of him that had done 7 reds in one day I think 6 where bolted with one long dig lol. A bolting dog was ideal for the place .The permo was heaved plenty to go at but you could only get one dig done two if you was lucky and you was bollocked after lol.

    The other year I put up a thread about my nephews moving from the city to the countryside and how they're thriving. A lot of good people sent good wishes offers of nets and a book for the the lads. A year on and they still love the countryside and they love their hunting ! They sent me this pic a little while back so I thought I'd share
