  1. Feck yaa don't fair play to him a breath of fresh air seeing blacks with that many years behind em with the graft they put in. I'd look at pics like that all day pity they weren't more about .
  2. She's done her bit I'd say. Nice to see old workers who have done a bit instead a them flossy coated yolks bred for shows . Ooooo.ooooo....im in trouble now .
  3. Nice pup and also a nice selection of shovels R.H.
  4. Frequency went of once but sent it back and got rectified. If you can afford the bnf do because most terriermen sware by them I'm sure their right but from my experience to pinpoint your terriers location the 40ft is more accurate as some tims the bnf can tell you it's 2ft in one area and 2ft in an area that is a bit away from the first lowest reading.
  5. I use the 40ft one when I'm on my own as I find the pinpoint much more accurate than the bnf so less digging although I'm sure we are probably only talking a handful of shovels , but when I head out with the boys it's not worth bringing for what slagging I get. It's not as robust as others on the market but if minded it's a handy piece of equipment.
  6. She must be given time but I'm sure if she is a jibber you'll know after a while but she must be given a chance to prove herself first. Hay she could be a great one time will tell.
  7. As D.C says an experienced dog will tell you what's going on.
  8. I have them about a month now but I can inquire for you no problem I'll find out tomorrow for you without fail. I'll be in touch by pm.
  9. Ended up with a beagle X cocker and a 3/4springer 1/4beagle . It's been a while since I bushed and will be a while before these start but all in good time. They got a real bad sickness shortly after I got them some type of virus. It took aweek stay at the vets thank god their over it now and eating again.
  10. I know their not all bad I turned clay with more than one down there.
  11. Can be sure of it there everywhere. My statement a hard lesson learnt was ment in general not pointed to anyone down your way. Theirs good and bad everywhere. Only for 2 people very near your town I wouldn't be in the position I am today with my terriers they held their word and gifted me what is now my brood bitch now thanks god for that very decent men. So what ever is between yourself and mole is between yourself and mole
  12. Rock fishing I'll be doing usually around Dungarvan /Ardmore area . Deep water I usually pick up a few mackerel and Pollack start a may and it improves as the summer advances. Alot easier than diggin 12 foot a slig hahahaha.
  13. A hard lesson I learnt. I'm sure there good digging men their too but I'm sure I know the group your on about also. I'm not going to worry to much about the digging game now the season is over. Keep a close eye on the hurling and do about a fishing for a few months now thank god.
  14. Apache sorry I've come across a bit blunt but it's hard at time to no who's criticizing you for [BANNED TEXT] or wrong yes your [BANNED TEXT] there is alot of invite down kk tipp area to the guys up the Midlands . But I gladly have no part in it, but have been told of so many great dogs gone wrong up the country using kk dungeons as an excuse for the dogs failure. I for one have dug such dungeons with my own unpopular terriers without a bother. Yet I've heard such great dogs fail . Are they so great to type in books in my eyes hardly but let dreamers dream. Let people believe what they want t
  15. Be no fool Apache I will offer no dig to a man that I can't dig with my own terriers. We have had some hard digs here this year 12 hour pluses but I see no need to bring outsider into my digging rites. Maybe the guy you accused me of been in Carrick does, but I assure you the only people I dig are real terrier men. I maybe younger than yourself but atleast I know who I'm talking too through loyal people on here. Can the same be said for you.
  16. The stuff here in kk is hard slig we try to avoid the hard places but eventually keep going back to place that hold year in year out they maybe hard digging and I mean seriously hard that you what ta give up and each year you repeat I'm never coming back here but each year we lie to ourselves. But a dig is a dig and be glad of it.
  17. Very nice AT. Little peggy don't look too little she is well toned.
  18. Educated stuff should mean the one thing to all but it clearly doesn't. Some people are a mile of which is a blessing thank god.
  19. Different story altogether ches.... Educated quarry only educates your terrier and makes em a better dog, if not they can always be passed onto the horsey men for Micky Mouse work.
  20. Clever hard types are alot more abundant than what people think only because a dog is mute or almost mute, alot of yapper owners think such dogs should be brutalized underground, which couldn't be further from the truth but then if you ain't seen it with your own 2 eyes why should you believe such a thing. Yappers only go so far until the pressure is on but a terrier that can go in a bring the fight to it's quarry and finish em are in a different category all together. I've opened a tin of worms here again but hay what the hell. If they're was a dislike button I'm sure I'd be leading by a coun
  21. Positive words are a breath of fresh air. Live as long as you can and die when you can't help it.
  22. As nice a terrier I've seen in a while. A Picture.
  23. Surly no terrierman should rush a terrier to ground only let them go when they want to and if they want to and come out how much patients can a man have but if a man is in a situation that he has little to no diggers I can see why a terrier can be encouraged to be something maybe they are not or ever will be. Surely the odd one will come good but if its the normal practice to just keep trying a terrier who keeps walking after entering on their own accord is an awful lot of time wasted where other terrier could be used and proven.
