  1. I own a husky whom I adore and a Lurcher. The plus points for the husky would be strength and stamina, they also have a very strong prey drive. That's it. Negatives; they are very very difficult to train my nature, aloof in fact and have poor recall, its bred into them to out smart their musher should the need arise e.g if they are asked to travel a path where the ice is too thin, they wont and a good musher will listen to the dog. Also they are great hunters but the hunt is for their own food. They are unlikey to return or share it. They are by far the best sled dogs in my opinion a

  4. Hi All. I've taken my Lurcher pup to a couple of local terrier and Lurcher shows and really enjoyed it in the under 12 month classes. Can any one give me the heads up on does and don'ts with regard to showing. Just the basic things will do so I don't make a tit of myself. Cheers nat.
