Been on the fields at the back of my house amazed at how far I can see with it "focused"

errrrrr no i hadn't hutchy...... I'll get my coat.? I had tryed to adjust the main focus but it turns out Id tryed to turn the wrong bit... Haha I'm really not doing myself any favours here am I. Thanks a lot for the help. I live just outside wimborne it'd be great to try some out thanks.

Thanks for all your replys, Just been on the back garden with the photon to double check in not being a div.... Took the lense cap off with the built in it on and nothing is in focus not even my car and van 50m away. But with the cap on its sound. I've had it a few months and had plenty of rabbits and rats with it but might take it back to the shop and see what they say. I'm pretty sure the spotting range is reduced a lot with the cap on. Hi I use a photon nv 5x42 on an air rifle, which is the best or tourch for the job? And I can't use the scope with the lense cover off even in pitch black, is that normal? Cheers John
