I won't used the cheap ones off ebay not only are they unreliable (I've had them die with the ferret in ground) and they don't last long. They also must leak a bit because you have to clean the little pin in the centre of the collar every trip. I use Renata batteries and as others have said if you disconnect the cap when you get home they will last all season. Cheers Arry

Give it a try mate I love it. Quite a few pubs serve up Bubble and Squeak with two fried eggs on top with sausage or ham. The Bubble and Squeak is usually mash with some cabbage in it fried so not much difference. I think I have had fried egg with mash most of my life perhaps its a regional thing will have to ask my mates what they think. Cheers Arry

I was reading a post on a metal detecting site about some lads night hawking ( detecting at night with out permission ). They said a dog came up towards them and the tried to shoo it away. They said it hissed at them, it was no dog but a big cat. True or not I've no idea, but amusing. But I bet they f****d off if it was. Cheers Arry

Leo that's a real hard blow for the Family and you. Thats really a fine thing you and his friends have done giving him a good send off. That and supporting his Wife and Kids is all you can do. No words I can say will help in any way but my thoughts go out to you all today. Rest in Peace RA. Arry

I don't think its being miserable old fuckers Juke. I quite happy really, more happy wondering around the fields, hills and Moors. Its just the super markets and in town the public sort of wind me up walking around half asleep or in a day dream. I'm happiest out with the ferret with a mate or detecting. Most I have met off here are pretty much the same and get on great because we are similar, its all the other fuckers in the world we cant stand Lol. Cheers Arry

I sure I have put this up before but be tolerant of me you do tend to repeat yourself as you get older. Right did a ferreting job for a Guy that owned a bakery, not your average baker all Sour dough and healthy kinds of bread. Well we done the job and got talking about the field he wanted to grow old fashion grains. He explained that modern grains had evolved faster than our body's can cope.
