    I think they are the variable resistors or preset vertical trimmer potentiometers. I've fitted these in one of my boxes, the one marked 1m is 1 ohm and the other is 100 ohm. i got them from Mallinson Electrical. Little tip change one then the other as easy to get muddled up as they look the same. They are adjustable to set your depth, us a small terminal screw driver and car full not to force. Cheers Arry

    I acquired some nets the a while back four foot too two foot six, now these two foot six ones look really tiny only fifteen knots wide. Anyway we tried them (my mate more than me) in tight places in brambles and black thorn tight hedges and they catch really well no extra net to get tangled up. Took me a while to have faith in them little nets. Maybe worth a try. Cheers Arry

    Young in most of them today some ready to drop , small stingers still around and hedge rows are sprouting. Bumped into some mates while out today they reckoned they bolted young last week. Think farmers will be growing rice next year and rabbits will have webbed feet. Cheers Arry

    We use electric fence posts that cost about £2.00 if you buy 10. Straight posts nothing to catch. http://www.flytesofancy.co.uk/chickenhouses/PVC_Plastic_Post.html They have a nice clip top if you are not using quick set and set poles at a angle. If you put electrical grommets on the poles you could easy make them quick set poles. Cheers Arry.

    I've been looking at Falconry vests or Gun dog dummy vests, my ferreting mate saw a guy wearing a waistcoat with big pockets on youtube (last day of the season). Do any of you guys use them? and above all are they any good? Cheers Arry

    I think they are 50k ohms which = 50000ohms And the if B5K (which is printed on the replacements I bought and I know they work) means 5K ohms = 5000ohms. K = 1000 B5K is all I had to go on and I can't find any think on line with those numbers. I'm no expert though but I've fitted 3 in different boxes they all work now. Cheers Arry

    Not sure if those are the right value. I bought a few off ebay though on the ferret finder page, Fitted a few now and they do work. Some times its worth cleaning that switch by take the yellow disc carefully off ( which is under there wheel )and use a cotton bud and some electrical cleaning fluid or some mentholated spirt might do it.     I went to the farmers outlet so many wellies got more confused than i was before sizes varied up to 2 sizes ether way. Tried loads different makes in the end I settled for a pair of Barbour's they were the best fit for me. There rubber not neoprene so fingers crossed lets hope they last. No good if you have big calves they are snug fit. Cheers Arry.
