  7. My father used to say "Do you know people don't appreciate where they live", he was taking about down here, he was so right. Alway took that on board, when out whether it be ferreting, fishing, shooting or just foraging for mushroom. I don't think theres a trip that goes by ether my mate or myself will stop look around and say some thing like," look at that, you can't buy it" or " we arnt half luck living were we live", usually when we stop to catch are breath climbing a hill. Lol. Devon is a great place to live, but your ether going up a hill or down one. Cheers Arry

  10. Forest of Dean one of the best places iv'e every been. Portland and rabbits, you ether worked in the quarries or on fishing boats. The quarry men hated rabbit as they would loose stones which would fall on quarry men below and maybe leading to death. So you had relation ether quarry men or fishermen. Fishermen will not say the word "rabbits" they will call them bush congers etc. Cheers Arry

  12. Ah my boy came round with a card for fathers day , bless his heart. But he had fallen of his skate board and put some cut in his hand, the mrs fussed over him washing it plasters and cream etc. He is thirty seven FFS. Lol. Cheers Arry
  13. The all of the West Country for me. born in Devon still here and love it. Just few miles from the Moors and few miles from the coast. Cornwall, Dorset and Somerset all not far to travel and excellent, always found the north coast quieter. Loved Scotland but them midges. Cheers Arry
