I've no idea if this is true. I had ex marines working for me (good lads) any way told me few stories about the Falklands how they were shitting through the eye of a needle because of the crap water on that yompe across the island. When it was quite at night with radio silence some body would whisper on the radio " are there any care bears out there" and a minute later "I'm a care bear" and another. Then some officer would bark "radio silence" few minutes later "are there any care bears" you got the jest. They had me laughing with their stories, and do you know not many people would take them

There is a book called " The book of Dartington Parish" and it is in there as are family lent them the photo. There are loads of good old photos in it some with my family in them. But I might go out there with my camera and see if i can get a shot with the same angle. I don't know why I haven't thought of it before, and now thats to you I know its there still. Cheers Arry

Been ferreting around in piles of photo's today. The family dumped them on me when I did the family history, it is quite nice when you got a photo as well as a name though. Any way this is a boy my grans brother at about 2 some where near 1900. Cheers Arry

Yea its odd I use straw and thats usually clean of tics, but right in between their toes is the odd thing. Also mate mate uses different straw. Only 1 on the neck of mine, some on the ears of my mates as well but mostly feet. Cheers Arry

Any you guys noticed a lot of Tic's about at the moment. Last week one of last years kits had a big Tic between its toes on a hind leg and was carrying its foot, soon sorted but found more on its feet and on the other ferret feet between their toes. Don't think I can remember so many on feet before and odd because I haven't been out. They only been in hutch or a run on the lawn, or just running on the lawn its self. Must be from Hedge Hogs, Birds or Cats dropping them, never had a problem in the summer before. Phoned my mate he checked his ferrets and he had the same loads on their feet worse

Well Im bxggered i've never even been to have a look , and only a few miles away yea its the house okay. nice to know its till there, thanks mate. That photo is almost the same angle as well, wish I could have put the whole photo up as its about a third bigger had to crop it. Cheers Arry
