  2. Out for a fungi mooch today. Well loads of fungi about today not for taking some deadly ones. The Brown Rimroll mushroom and the Panther cap. Then The Cloudy Funnel classed as poisonous but only 1 in 5 people get ill. Not about to try it. Then I'm 99.9% sure this is the Miller but I don't take yet smells of bread dough. Other stuff seems to grow in the same area I often find Cep/Penny buns about two weeks after they show up. Mostly under Oak trees. 4. Right Walt This site I find very useful especially like the ID videos on most of the mushrooms. www.wildfooduk.com Wild UK Mushrooms (Fungi): Guide to Identification & Picking WWW.WILDFOODUK.COM Edible and poisonous wild mushroom identification guide. When to pick, what to look for. Photos, video, safety tips for each mushroom. The book is good as well. The River Cottage book is a good book as well. This larger book who somebody recommended of here covers a lot more with good pictures. Hope this he
  5. Yeah mate I put ferret food under their hutch ever night and they come. Squirrels drive me mad trashing the feeders. I have taken so many out I've lost count now good for the garden mind Lol. The Woman next door when she moved in moved a shed next to my boundary fence next to my feeders, I asked her not to and explained it would encourage rats. She took no notice and after every period of heavy rain now another turns up coming under the fence. Still gives me a bit of sport outwitting them. Cheers Arry
  6. I agree mate but I have to keep stuff out of site of twaty neighbours if you know what I mean. The other evening I put two traps on top of a wood stack over night still a big fat bugger climbed up and got in there. Cheers Arry
  7. Nice to see them though mate. I'm after a bloody squirrel But he don't come every day or he's a smart one. He has trashed some of my feeders so I set the traps in the morning and lift them in the evening. But if I'm a little late in the evening hedgehog get in there. Cheers Arry

  9. Tried a new permission today some paddocks not much in the first two paddocks just them sheep treatment tubes. I know others had had a go there so no surprise really. Then crossed a track tried a lower paddock well was getting some signals all junk 12 bore cases but gave me faith it hadn't been done. Nothing really good but did get this Trade weight which I'm told is around Henry V11 or Henry V111 so will give me faith to have another go there. Cheers Arry

Seen this coming up in the Grass another I had to look up "Fairy Fingers" I did get a feed though some Horse Mushrooms and couple of handfuls of Terracotta Hedgehog Mushrooms. Terracotta Mushrooms is a good safe mushroom as the only thing similar is the bigger Hedgehog Mushroom that white. Both have no gills they have spikes that you can just brush off. These were under some Hazels on a bank. Cheers Arry
