    I gave up commenting on this thread a it was pointless any positive input was shot down as being a liar or nut case. This morning how the mood of the site has changed, for the better mind. Greb in my view is probably an Anti as he does not hunt or fish puts no country skills up no positive input. His aim is just attention seeking and stirring up the site. So if your Banned your Banned tough shit you've had your chances.     Mint Sauce is there FD on the spuds and the meat. Grow a few carrots and taste the difference mate tender sweet and full of flavour. If you see some carrots for sale with the tops still on try them mate. Cheers Arry

    I don't get on with the summer types I find the get to many aphids and them green catapillers and a bugger to wash then out. The winter Purple sprout I do well with as long as I keep the woodies off. I will put seed (Rudolph) in the next couple of weeks. I find Rudolph PSB pretty bomb proof. Cheers Arry

    Out for a walk with my son and his family at NT place called Parke at Bovey Tracey. Found this Cep thats bit to far gone bit surprising considering its been so dry, also well early. Squirrels been having a good feed out of the top. Cheers Arry

    That should be fine. I have some spoon measures I use. Take of any leaves off that are bad and try and create as much air circulation as possible. Don't think you will hurt them by spraying again. Cheers Arry

    Few more memories that came back. When we was about 10 years old At the back of my pals house that lived opposite was a building site that had stopped building and had got over grown with stinger nettles about 6 foot high. So my mate and I got our school coat them gabardine on gloves and balaclavas and made some swords out of wood. We set off into the jungle cutting tracks through to get to the half built houses. Trolly nails ( nails to make soapbox carts)were like our gold, galvanised grip nail for plaster boarding. At the bottom of our road the kids would gather, then over t

    Runners starting to go mad now. Don't know you can see through the grubby glass. This is the Tomato plant that the slug wiped out and I let 2 shoots go up in a V there is way over 100 tomatoes on the 2 stems.     I like these old memories takes me back. I too was taught by Nun's horrible buggers used to punch you cane the shit out of you. We used to kick a football into a walnut tree in the grounds to knock the walnuts down. They were bit like a horse chestnut where as you had a green outer coat on the nut that was hard to get off and stained your fingers yellow. the Nun's made you hold your hands out if stained you got whacked with the cane. I was sort of lucky my parents moved into a housing association house in 1952 we had hot and cold taps but only cold water came out of both. That was unless
