This pheasant was walking parallel to me about six foot away and only went ahead in the time it took to get my phone out. The pheasants seem to come out the hedges when I'm in the field. There is a few patches of feathers in different places where a bird of pray has taken a few out. Talking to a lad that helps the Keeper out told me theres a Goshawk in the woods just across the road. I would love to see that. I think the pheasants feel safe when I'm about. Cheers Arry

Bet there is a few on here that can remember being dragged along with mother to local hall to pick up Orange juice in medicine bottle with the measurements on the side of the bottle. Think it was a ration card thing. I remember also the Pop van selling Squash mainly Orange but Gran bought a new flavour Pineapple and Grapefruit I thought I was in heaven when I first tasted that. Think it's because sparrows like the Red Flowering ones and seem to leave the White flowering ones mate. I rate White lady the only problem I have had is a Bee that cuts a hole in the back of the flower to get at the nectar but seems to happen later in the season. Cheers Arry -

They would have to declare it ti the "Finds" people and hand it over. Then if British Museum want it it get valued. Then if they do the land owner and the finder get half each. If its given back then it will have to go to auction some the land owner get his half. It's all a bit drawn out but you can end up in clink if you don't. I know people that have been wait 3 years for it to get settled but supposed to by 18 months. Cheers Arry

I gauge it as to goes Bangers. Interestingly last year the Tomato plant just inside the green house door had the centre nipped out by a slug. So I let it send two shoots up instead of one, I got close to a hundred Tomatos of that one plant. f**k me the same thing has happened again so I'm going to do the same thing again. Its a smallish Tomato about 40mm in diameter called "Sakura". Another thing I do is grow Tomatoes in pots no small the a builders bucket sunk in the ground. I plant the young plants in about 100mm 4 inches of peat. Then as they grow I take the bottom leafs off and -

I let 6 trusses form Banger but the 2 in the centre of the green house I might let them have 7 trusses mate. Will take all leafs off below 1st truss to allow more air flow. Cheers Arry -
